CEAC status updates

Its been a month and 3 days since I've done my interview CO approved us but I still had my medical report outstanding due to issues at the hospital. My medical was sent to the embassy on Friday Nov 25 and my status was updated on Nov 29 and then again today Dec 6 but it still shows AP plane tickets get higher everyday and my fiance and I are going crazy constantly checking CEAC for updates. My question is, I read that for the embassy in kingston updates are only done on Tuesdays and Fridays just checking if anyone can confirm the validity of this so my fiance and will lower our expectations and give CEAC a break until Friday, also has anyone had their case do 2 updates in one day we're praying that they'll look at the case again today and just change it to issued later since its still early, please share your experience.

There are only DHL deliveries on Tuesday and Friday from what I understand. No, we did not experience 2 updates in one day.

You just have to do your best to be patient. Please wait until visa is in hand to book the ticket. At this point all you can do is what you can do.....wait for the embassy to issue the visa and deliver it to DHL. Stressing over flight pricing and updates won't help.

It's a blessing it was approved. The rest can be handled easily when the time is appropriate. No worries. You're almost there.

If you can tell that your case updated twice in one day you are certainly checking the CEAC website too much. I know the anticipation Abd related stress but nothing to be done but wait. Kingston is not known for taking extremely long to issue the visa so it should be soon. And your case updates anytime its touched e.g whichever day they got your medical it would have updated etc.

Yea im aware of that, they updated it when they got back my passport and then Nov 29 when they got my medical I just didn't understand why another update was done today and the status still showed AP hopefully by Friday it'll change to issued. Thanks for the feedback.

My husband did his interview without the medical. That was on a Wednesday. They did an update on that Fri (which I assume was when they receive the medical). Visa was in hand the following Wednesday. Just saying that to give you hope!! Hopefully yours will come through very soon.

Although it hasn't been months its just disheartening we made it this far followed the rules and still we play the waiting game. Our case was updated or looked at day after appointment and again Monday the 5th with still saying administrative process. Hoping soon for both of us. Keep your head up.

Believe me I just read your message to my fiance we are up video calling as he cleans to get the house ready for me he is so excited but this uncertainity of when the visa will be in hand is really breaking our hearts you know we are so close yet so far his birthday and his mom's birthday is in a few days we had so much planned i just hope I can make it. His interview was on Wednesday, Oct 26. It was updated on Friday, the 28. It said issued on Monday, 31. Got the email to pick it up and he picked it up on Wednesday, Nov 2.

You guys got lucky be thankful. Thanks for sharing your timeline at least now i know tuesdays and fridays aren't the only days status are updated. I went to Andrews on the 28th to confirm when they'd be sending and they confirmed it was sent off on the Friday and they also confirmed there were no problems if there was it wouldn't have been sent and they would have contacted me. I just checked CEAC it still says AP I emailed them on Tuesday haven't gotten a response as yet my fiance is gonna call tomorrow if we see no change I figured since we've been in the system so long they'd pity us and handle our case quickly just praying nothing is wrong.

Yes we eased right through. I was thinking maybe they would be slow for the holidays but I would think they would be able to get back on track since Christmas is still a few weeks away. And they did keep your passport, correct?

Yea typically they get more request in the holidays but theyve looked at my case on tuesday again idk why it hasn't been issued. At the interview the CO gave me back my passport because i needed it for the medical but he told me to send back the passport after i did the medical and i sent back the passport the same day i completed the medical so once they got the medical results there would be no delays
