A destination wedding that was lavish. 50 people attended. We got married pool side at the villa we stayed. We fly all of our 17 guest down and stayed in a 9 bedroom 8 bathroom villa. It was the best and I wouldn't change a thing. This was in Jamaica near Mo Bay. I had a wedding planner and didn't have to do much.

We had our wedding here at our home for 8 people (including us) with a JOP. It was very simple, fast, cheap, but considering the circumstances (I have no friends/family here, Charles has no family here in Kansas) it was exactly what we had in mind and it worked great for us.

We had an intimate/ destination wedding. It was at Beaches Negril Resort, lovely place....the weather was perfect.

I would have liked to have another "fancy smancy" wedding, but the price tag was :o . Maybe on our 5th Anniversary, we'll renew our vows and have a nice reception.

Are you happy with your decision ?

Yes. We had a JP come to the house and perform a short wedding ceremony in front of our friends and family. It was intimate and sweet. Afterwards, we celebrated with cake, music and fireworks.

We intend to one day go to Jamaica and renew our vows in front of his family and our friends with a huge reception after.

The wedding itself was at the Ministry of Justice in Cairo so basically Justice of the Peace. It was just he and I and two male witnesses we met in the hallway. A few days later we had a small party at home with about 25 family members and friends. It was cool with me since it was my second marriage.

Intimate. Yes since we aren't the huge fancy schmancy blow out party type. Simple and intimate was best for us.

We will probably go to the JP after he gets here to get the AOS rolling, then have a church ceremony a month or so later.

not sure what we're going to do. all my life i dreamt of a lavish wedding but now i'm beginning to think otherwise...

today my mom and i discussed maybe renting a villa somewhere and throwing a party minus the ceremony for my family and closest friends.....similar to what jenn did. i'm sure all my guests will thank me from sparing them the boring ceremony too! the ceremony part is what will cause controvery in my family anyway because of mixed religions. it would be better to just get married at the court house and skip it all then have a big party minus anything religious!

or maybe we'll do some kind of destination wedding. maybe wait until after he gets his green card so we can travel somewhere and do a destination wedding there.

i don't know yet! so confusing. i definitely need to contact a wedding planner to help give me ideas.

Civil ceremony. It was not particularly memorable, beyond that we never took any vows. The pirate-themed reception two days later, now that was something to write home about! Best party I have ever been to and it was the first time that we both really felt married. Sometimes we say that was our 'real' wedding.

Very small and intimate. My girlfriend has a beautiful home and here living room has a beautiful fireplace so we had the ceremony by the fireplace. It was perfect.

WE ARE DONE!!!
