I am back again. Merry Christmas to you all.

My Dads stay will be 6 months on 29th which is tomoro.

I called uscis and they said that I can file another petition and submit for him since the last one I filed will most likely be rejected again due to incorrect fee.

Now, I was able to get FedEx to send my package back to me but it won't get to me until 30th which is Thursday.

Is their any implication submitting for his AOS documents after his stay is officially 6 months(expires ).

I was planning on resenting my previous application with the correct fees but fedex has been slow in sending it back due to the holidays.

In other words, can I file petition after he has overstayed his 6 months . I guess I will be submitting it on the 30tj which will be a day after his overstay.

Hey congrats!!

I thought our timelines were going to be similar since our packages were delivered on the same day.

Hey congrats!!

I thought our timelines were going to be similar since our packages were delivered on the same day.

Im thinking since I'm applying for a non conditional gc , could be taking a little bit longer ??! Anyhow, as long as I got Noas im okay.

I don't think that really makes a difference in the initial processing. Though, I have seen people that received NOAs earlier than me even though their applications were received later.

I received my electronic NOAs on the 22-23rd, the actual NOAs in the mail yesterday, and the receipt numbers finally worked on the USCIS today.

So it took around 5-6 days to work in my case

I don't know. I freaked out when I received 4 because everyone seemed to be receiving 3 only.

YES, I got 4 too.Like I said earlier , two came first then 2 more later. Haven't received the mail Noa yet but all 4 work in the uscis tracker.
