April 13th is only 2 weeks away , i don't even think they would take the pain to make an ead since it's so close. I mean, by the time you would receive the Ead , your interview would be done anyhow.Kinda pointless imo.

 

@ClassyBee I totally get your frustration!! I wonder sometimes what the officer in charge of some of our cases is doing ( maybe on vacation ?).

We filed on the 22nd Dec and so far have only got our NOA1's, Biometrics and initial interview notice. I put in an SR on 3/8 and another 3/22 and they said they have responded but I haven't received anything in the mail.

 

No EAD or any further updates. My wife is getting frustrated now. We also have to move soon so would be nice to have my SSN and a job before that happens.

Same with me, I filed mine on 22nd Dec and got my biometric done on 1/30/2017 but no updates since then. Also, I raised an SR for my EAD/AP.yesterday and no updates till now. Long wait continues.

@rask12345 You can always contact your congressman and/or senator's office and request their help. My case had been collecting dust for 85 days before they reached out to Uscis. Uscis issued me a rfie the same day they were contacted by my congresswoman ( if I remember right) .

I am getting ready to reach out again if I don't get any news by the end of this week.Also planning an infopass on April 6th.

We should hear something in the next couple of weeks but it may take a little longer. I didn't call USCIS until week 4 after they had received my response. But I hope it won't take that long

I'm assuming if I don't hear anything by this Friday, by the time I mail a letter to senator/ congressman ( and for it to be received, read etc) it's going to take another week so about April 7th if not the next week.

At this point, I'm missing out on jobs in the 70k-90k range so i can't afford to just hope this time will be different than me waiting 86 days for nothing.

Did you ask to be transferred to a tier 2 ?? I got the same message when I did.

Could reaching out to congresman be a negative. Just making sure it won't negatively affect the case in any way or delay it?

The customer service officer made a request 2 weeks ago. It just shows now as completed when I called myself and got a tier 2 on the phone a few days ago.
