PinoylnUS, I had a medical insurance through my job as far as I can remember so I don't think it has anything to do with the "only for work authorization" thing.

Usually you get a letter saying that your cases is within normal processing time. The same happened to me last week, and 3 days later, my EAD was approved.

Thanks - I essentially had the same thing happen to me. Was it three after the inquiry was closed online or three days after you received the mail? How long did it take you to reciece the mail?

SR was processed last Friday the 17th, EAD approved Wednesday, received letter about SR results Friday the 24th.

Not saying that this is garanteed though. Maybe it was just my turn

To be honest I'm not sure as yet what the new ssn card gonna say. As soon as I get it in the mail I will let you know what it says. But I definitely needed a new one because of my name change and stuff.

Like others said I got insurancr through the company I worked for on j1.... however I was able to get Medicare while I was out of status. Now that I'm in status my husband was able to add me to his company insurance.

While some of us have gotten some good news last week others are still waiting on their EAD to be approved. Let's all pray for each other and speak things into being that this week others are going to have some great update this week.
