Now the biometric appointment letter should come next week hopefully with an appointment date in mid january !

June 23, 2020: Credit Card Debited

June 24, 2020: E notification for case (LIN-Receipt) 

July  15, 2020: Case was updated to show that fingerprints were taken

July 16, 2020 : Official NOA letter dated July 1 was received  

July 20, 2020 : Official fingerprint taken notice dated July 15 was received

March 05, 2021: Status updated to "Card in Production"

March 06, 2021: Status updated to I-751 Approved

I think that is typical from what other AOS filers have posted previously.

When talking about USCIS nothing can be said in absolutes. But yes the average time to get the biometric letter is 1-2 weeks from NOA1

Medical aid does not apply here, nor insurance nor any other benefit. You just have to pay outright.

Yes i did, although i know it is a good chance that it might expire by the time AOS interview might come up in Saint Paul which is severely backed up (9-12 M). I figured its worth the risk and not getting a RFE.

I paid $3XX (three hundred something) i dont remeber the exact amount. I have PM'd you the doctor details.

Also, as GrumpyBrit already pointed out it will have to come out of your pocket and is not included in any insurance plan or employer benefit.
