Most persons in this thread are filing from other visas and not K1. So being approved without an interview is not possible. (I stand to be corrected though)

Very unfortunately, I think you are correct! ? I've never heard of anyone in our situation being approved without an interview. But, hey, everything is possible is this world! ?

Regarding interview timeframe, I've heard of people from where I live who has gotten their interview in less than three months, and others in nine months. Who knows... each case is unique! There is even someone here at VJ who filed in December and had their interview already. I forgot which local office.

:jest::jest: how happy we'd be if we could somehow be waived for an interview!

Sitting on the 98th day with no EAD. Also, because I have not been getting any response to my SR, no letter/ email. Even after a week of closure of the SR. finally I got frustrated enough to get a call scheduled with a Tier II officer, she told me my case "is still pending and will be adjusted shortly" and the same was supposedly communicated to me on email which I never received.

Feeling a a little relieved that it's not some RFE or something. Hopefully by end of this week or maximum by next week will get it approved. If not I don't know what to do.

ROC Timeline

June 15, 2020: Sent package through USPS

June 18, 2020: Delivered to Arizona PO box

June 23, 2020: Credit Card Debited

June 24, 2020: E notification for case (LIN-Receipt)

July  15, 2020: Case was updated to show that fingerprints were taken

July 16, 2020 : Official NOA letter dated July 1 was received

July 20, 2020 : Official fingerprint taken notice dated July 15 was received

March 05, 2021: Status updated to "Card in Production"

March 06, 2021: Status updated to I-751 Approved

I was also told my case would be " adjusted shortly " and that I would receive an update about ead soon ( day 76 I called) so I believe that's just a generic reply for those past and within the timeframe. This said, seems like people are usually approved by day 102-105 so you can't be waiting much longer !!!??

Right, but the tier II officer can see the contents of the response of the SR, didn't they tell you later when you called that you had an RFE ?

as a thumb rule they can pull out an RFE anytime till the point they have not approved a case. In case of I-485, sometimes RFE comes even after interview.

I think all I can make of conversation with a TIER II officer is that till that moment my application is on track and is pending due to delay on their end.

The first tier 2 officer I spoke to told me she saw no Rfe and that I would be sent an Ead  !!! So I'd  take what they say with a grain of salt . I only got correct info after my congresswoman contacted them.

Oh what a day that would be! Lately I've been a lil busy, hence my not so frequent responses, but I do read through the thread and your responses to most questions being asked, keep it up! We are grateful for persons like you and the others in this forum !

So on day 76 you had no RFE but on day 88 you did, and that is what I said earlier :P tier II officers word is valid till that moment you have had the conversation on. It's not a blanket confirmation that all is well and will remain well :D

just hoping I will get the EAD by 105 day. If not I will then broach the congressman expedite option.

The fool in me thought a tier 2 officer was the blanket of love and reassurance ???.

But in your case,I'm 100% it's coming soon. I mean, how much more longer could you wait ??? It's already day 98 !!

Fingers crossed for that. As we know anything can happen. I have not been able to concentrate at work especially after I crossed day 90. This should qualify as a mild form of modern torture :P
