Just called Uscis again . She did confirm my EAD won't get re-started so she said in about a week , I should get some kind of update about it .( my birthday is the 25th so that would be great lol). I went over the documents I sent and "apparently " it's all in order. ( taking this with a grain of salt ??).

My birthday is on the 13th! Hopefully they send me something as well!! 

Did you end up using gross income for the yearly incom?

No, the current income has to be net from what I read. It doesn't matter though since her total income and gross income is the same. I did put the same income as 2015 tax return since she gets the same amount. When I asked the lady for the proof I should include, she said her retirement / social benefits tax forms  included with 2015 tax return are enough since it's a fixed income .

 

is your bday in April or did you mean March 13th ?  If so, HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY ?.Did you send your Rfe back ?

Okay I put the net I come as well with the pension statements.

Yeah ! Good luck ?. It doesn't seem to restart our processes so hopefully, we shall hear back from Uscis very soon .

Its been nearly a month since they received my RFIE and took biometrics, and have heard nothing else. I'm hoping no news is good news right now.

From what I was told , unless it's specified that your RFIE reset your case, it goes back to whatever day you were at when they sent it. So are you close to 90 days ? Are you sure your RFIE doesn't cause a reset ?

I really couldn't tell you. I used to assume a RFIE ( initial evidence) as I've received would restart the process but I was told in my case it wouldn't. I would ask uscis to make sure. Maybe try to submit a service request if you're past 90 days .

Can't believe it, but we are STILL waiting on our RFIE that was supposedly sent January 10th!! After submitting an e-request over a month ago, and speaking with the Customer Service line multiple times in the last month, still nothing has come in the mail and no one in Customer Service seems to be really bothered that we haven't received their request. I've seen some people on here who've contacted their senators? Anyone contacted the USCIS Ombudsman/Case Assistance? Feel like there is literally nothing else we can do at the moment, since when we call they've told us...well a couple things actually--sometimes that we can call again in 15 days to check progress, then we call at 15 days and they ask why we haven't waited for 30... It has been 65 days since they say the RFIE was sent out, and they have the correct address since we received our biometrics appointment letter and the I-797s.

I would try contacting your congressman or senator . My case was collecting dust until I contacted mine ( I also had a service request pending so who knows). I got a response the next day. Definitely worth a try. Since you've also already submitted an e-request, not sure what else to do ??! Is your e-request still active ( within the delay given by Uscis )???

 

ps : Have you tried contacting your post office ?

ps : Have you tried contacting your post office ?

The original e-request has not been touched according to MyUSCIS, and the original date to expect a response on that was February 28th, but we've spoken to them on the phone and they're telling us different dates. I'd considered the post office, but haven't contacted them yet. Did you contact a congressman from your state congress, or national?
