I've just spent 2 hours color-coding everything, writing my cover letter and such, so they'd better not ask again lol ?!

From my experience, I recommend sending a request. I'm pretty sure my case would've been collecting dust for 100+ days had I not filed one out.( i was at day 85 when they sent me one) ???

I've raised a SR request today, day 77.  I know it doesn't always work, but I wanted to try.  I haven't seen any update on mine since January 13th.

Do you know after how many days we can file a SR? Is it 75?

January 12 - I-130 & I-485 Delivered

January 24 - Both checks cashed

January 26 - Both NoAs received

February 9 - Biometrics letter received

February 17 - Biometrics appointment

My understanding is 75 days (it's on the USCIS website). But as they are back logged, 90 days has been the average processing time for now. The 90 day SR might be more effective. So it's up to you to decide on doing the SR at 75 or 90. Personally, I couldn't wait! ?

Same story! Can't wait. :pop:

Also, people in Chicago got their interview dates and filed the same day as I did. So hopefully I'll get it moving.

@mrs.felicia @lleaka

Where do you guys see 75 days? I went online and couldn't find it.

All I see is this:

"Do you have a case pending with USCIS that is outside the normal processing time? USCIS usually processes cases in the order we receive them. You can get an idea of how long it will take to process your case from the processing time table available on our website. For most applications, you can send us an inquiry if your case has been pending longer than the processing time posted on our website.  If you are a DACA renewal applicant please contact the USCIS National Customer Service Center at (1-800) 375-5283 to inquire on a case pending longer than 105 days.

NOTE: We are actively processing your case if, in the past 60 days, you:

  • Received a notice from us about your case,
  • Responded to a request for evidence, OR
  • Received an online update to your case status.

If your application type is not listed in the processing time table on our website, our goal is to make a decision on your application within 6 months of filing. Please wait six months before submitting an inquiry"
