I've seen people getting the case moving right after RFE, so don't worry too much about it.  There is always the bright side of things.  Let's hope for the best!

 

I had forgotten to mail the 2015 tax return for our sponsor ( mother in law). They also asked for ours again. And another i864 for our sponsor ( which I had mailed already !!!) . Anyhow, sending it all tomorrow finally !!

Yes, it's okay. Depending on how you file, it's either a married filing jointly ( what we do) or something else. Either way, they need your husbands tax return since your Itin is based on you being a Us citizen's spouse.

Hey guys.. Need some advice.

 

I already launched a service request today for typographical error on my petitioner's name.

 

Do you think it will affect the progress of my case.. Currently, the status says "Your Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview".

Did you ever receive a letter for it ? It should give you some info.

Mine just arrived today ( dated March 9th)  and it confirmed I had a Rfe , hence my 765 not being approved yet.

Looks like you should get some news soon then !!! It can't be that much longer anyway, you're already at day 93 and there's no Rfe apparently.

Glad you have everything ready to send.  I saw before that they ask the same paperwork again so that the file arrives on their hands complete.  It must be the reason...

 

I've raised a SR request today, day 77.  I know it doesn't always work, but I wanted to try.  I haven't seen any update on mine since January 13th.

I've just spent 2 hours color-coding everything, writing my cover letter and such, so they'd better not ask again lol ?!

 

From my experience, I recommend sending a request. I'm pretty sure my case would've been collecting dust for 100+ days had I not filed one out.( i was at day 85 when they sent me one) ???

I received an I-797 NOA today for my EAD saying it's approved (this is based on adjustment of status). The notice date was March the 9, 2017. In the letter, it says that my EAD was sent under separate cover to the beneficiary.

Hope you will get some positive news this week too.

Just saw that we were granted an EAD today after filing on December 5th! Waiting for the card to arrive in the mail.

Interview scheduled for next Monday and we are getting our things together! Big week and a bit of stress for us.  Can't wait until this is all over and we can relax (except for my wife, she's gotta get working!! $$  )
