Oh well, I guess I can call it whichever I want anyway.. ???

We have an update people!! Called in a SR last Wednesday 03/08/17 and today I received a text, email and case update that we have been scheduled for an interview.

Now here's my questions.... Can we move the interview date forward? My wife has a class she has been waiting 6 months to do and it happens to fall on that day and would be another 6 months before she can do it again. Has anyone ever done a walk in for that interview?

Also considering I only placed the SR for the I-765, and they have issued the interview for I-485 and no update on I-130 or I-765? Do we expect the EAD to arrive shortly?

Rescheduling can be done but there have been people that have had issues when they did.   Not saying that it can't be done but even when people have called to reschedule, they have had issues later.  Personally, I wouldn't risk it.  Just take the class 6 months later.  You can read some issues people have had with rescheduling on the VJ forums.

On the bottom of your I-797C form it states:

"If an emergency, such as your own illness or a close relative's hospitalization, prevents you from appearing, call the USCIS Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283 as soon as possible.  Please be advised that rescheduling will delay processing of application/petition, and may require some steps to be repeated.  It may also affect your eligibility for other immigration benefits while this applications is pending."

I second this !

Some people have had issues ( and denials) rescheduling their interview. I wouldn't risk it neither.

Of course, there are always horror stories out there and good endings too. Some people have successfully rescheduled and had no issues except waiting a bit longer for another interview.

I guess it's up to you guys to see whether it's really worth it .

As for your Ead, you should receive an update/confirmation when it's approved.Did you sign up for email/mobile updates ?
