It could be a follow up letter for your expedite request, they could basically ask for documentary proof for expedite.

 

if RFE, its anybody's guess it could be anything missing in your application which Genrally are related to I-864, but you know the list of documents you sent better. 

 

I would suggest don't fret !

June 15, 2020: Sent package through USPS

June 18, 2020: Delivered to Arizona PO box

June 24, 2020: E notification for case (LIN-Receipt) 

July  15, 2020: Case was updated to show that fingerprints were taken

July 16, 2020 : Official NOA letter dated July 1 was received  

July 20, 2020 : Official fingerprint taken notice dated July 15 was received

March 05, 2021: Status updated to "Card in Production"

March 06, 2021: Status updated to I-751 Approved

Thank you!! Yes this my second RFE so hopefully notbing too major here. But I will give them what they ask.

wow! So its about a month for your case to change from ready to be scheduled to your case was scheduled! Me and @Cooldude20 is waiting for the status to change soon. Hopefully, in this month.

AOS:

11/30/2016: Package sent

12/02/2016: Package delivered

12/13/2016: Checks cashed

12/14/2016: Texts/Emails received

12/19/2016: NOA1 mails received.

01/03/2017: Biometric appointment received which scheduled for 01/12/2017

01/11/2017: Status changed to "Request for Initial Evidence was mailed"

01/12/2017: Fingerprint was done.

02/11/2017: RFIE sent.

02/13/2017: RFIE delivered.

02/14/2017: status changed to Evidence was received.

02/13/2017: EAD Package sent.

03/09/2017: Case was ready to be scheduled.

05/22/2017: Card is being produced.

05/25/2017: Card was mailed

I am still on the same status as yours. I am positive that we will have our schedule real soon. Some states have faster progress than ours. Just have faith and be patient.. ?

 

I am having a fatith like you too. The only problem that I have is my case for my I-765 cannot be checked online now and i am worried i missed the biometric!!!

@Cooldude20 I'm also in CA, but My PD is 12/27, so I'm trying to patiently wait for my turn... I'm still on case and fingerprint fees received.  :whistle:

 

I'm in SF, what's your office?

 

Very glad to learn about all the progress! Congrats to you guys with EAD and interview scheduled!

Okay guys I need advice!!

 

Okay so I had an RFE back in January asking for 2015 tax, income and correct a mistake on 864. Did it and sent it all back. Now they're sending me another RFE. 
My husband income wasn't enough in 2015 as he was a student. However 2016 was and he got a new job which provides plenty over the guidelines. 
I sent the 2015 tax return (not enough income), pay stubs for 8 months, employment letter, corrected the pages I needed. 
I also sent 2016 w2 without the completed return because we hadn't filed yet. 
So what could they want next?! I'm so confused. 

I also request my EAD to be expedited on 3/8. Case is currently under review and a couple of hours later they sent me the RFE notification. 

Any idea?

@jimhilbangbang I have no idea how any of this works, so I can't offer any tips. Just wanted to say keep the faith! I hope the best for you (and everyone else here). I think most of us are with you in the same slooooow boat...waiting and waiting and waiting...so we feel your frustration.

Btw, can they send an RFE after they've updated your status to "interview ready to be scheduled"? Are you ever RFE safe? All these RFE stories have me paranoid.

[day 16] 01/11/17 ~ Checks cashed, and (4) email and (4) text message application acceptance NOAs received

[day 22] 01/17/17 ~ I-797 (NOA) x4 received in the mail  

[day 25] 01/21/17 ~ Biometrics letter received in the mail

[day 38] 02/02/17 ~ Biometrics appointment (on designated date)

[day 46] 02/10/17 ~ "Interview Ready to be Scheduled"

[day 86] 03/22/17 ~ "Interview Scheduled" for April (USCIS website status)

[day 88] 03/24/17 ~ "Notice of Interview" official letter for April received in mail 

[day 105] 04/10/2017 ~ EAD/AP updated online to "New Card is Being Produced"

[day 112] 04/17/2017 ~ EAD/AP "Card Was Mailed To Me"

[day 116] 04/21/2017 ~ EAD/AP combo card received priority mail

[day 123] 04/28/2017 ~ green card APPROVED at interview (I-485 status online changed to "Case Was Approved")

[day 130] 05/05/2017 ~ GREEN CARD ARRIVED!!!!

Yey! Another CA! 

 

I'm from Santa Ana which is from SoCal. I know that SF has their own field office and I have a friend who was interviewed from there last December 2016.

 

It's a 7-8 month wait period in SF but I guess the EAD processing is not that slow. Im sure you will get yours in no time! ?

Santa Ana is a fast office. Lucky you!! I wish we could pick a fast processing  office close by and drive there for the interview. ?

 

7-8 month wait for SF?? ??? It used to be 3 months, but I guess they have been back logged recently.

All I could think about is you making another mistake on i864.

 

Anything else, they would have asked for before I would think ??
