Thank you @Brandja! I know this is just the beginning! The wait for actual interview can be weeks or months!!! ☹️

PS/ Is anyone know when the status will change to My Case is scheduled for interview or I will just get a notification in the mail stating the date of the interview?

Congratulations Jimjilbang!!!! ?

It will either be the following:

1) The online status will not be changed and you will just receive a notice in the mail for an interview waiver.

2) The online status will be changed and you will just receive a notice in the mail for an interview waiver.

3) Status online will be changed to Ready To Be Scheduled for An Interview and you will receive a notice in the mail with your new case number, the actual interview date and the things you need to do or bring before or in the interview itself.

4) Status online will be changed to RFE if they need some more info about your petition.

5) It will directly change online to Card Being Produced which some of the people here experienced.

Whichever it is, I am praying and hoping for the best. Good luck on all of our journey! Let's keep each other updated. ❤❤❤

As of March 9, 2017, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSCxxxxxxxxxx, for an interview.

We will schedule your interview and send you a notice.

Please follow any instructions in the notice.

If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Goodness!!! CA service center is really pumped up!!!

Let's keep each other updated as you are the only I know of here to have filed from CA.

Anyone here who is also from the same state can ping us..

As for the other states, I am praying for a steadfast progress.. Im sure that by April or May, we will all get some good news! ❤

Hi Cooldude20!!

Thank you so much for your detailed and useful information that you gave me and your kind words!!! I never knew that there are a lot of incidents that would happen to a case like that. So, did you get the same online status as me too? I saw one member here get the status which states exactly the date when (s)he is already scheduled for her/his interview! ?

@jimjilbangbang yes. I had that status for over a month. From February third. I just noticed the change today to "On March 8, 2017, we scheduled you for your interview and mailed you an interview notice for Receipt Number MSC1790XXXXXX. Your interview is on April 11, 2017. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your interview notice by April 7, 2017, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address."

You will surely get that too in no time.. As of the time being, it will be like that until online status changes to your proper schedule! I'm so glad that many of the cases here are progressing! ?

I am still on the same status as yours. I am positive that we will have our schedule real soon. Some states have faster progress than ours. Just have faith and be patient.. ?

It basically means you will get either a Green Light or a RFE very soon. Hopefully it will be a green light. Expect it in a day or 2.

Well it looks like it's an RFE :( any idea why?
