So I called Uscis regarding my service requested since online it stated that is was completed. I spoke to customer service and they said that a letter was mailed out to me today and it states that my case is under review with xyz and I will get a response shortly.

what that means I have no damn clue. I asked if there were any rfe she said no and if there was one it would have been sent in the letter she just read.

Got the same thing

So a few things.  After writing to my congresswoman on Monday ( 6th ) they had me fill out a form.  We filled it out and sent it the same day but really at the end of the work day.  I received a call from their office today and the lady told me that the paperwork for the I-765 and I-131 has been sent to an agent and they have 30 days to make the decision. They also told me that we have been scheduled for an interview for the I-485.  It just happens that the letter came yesterday as well for the interview.  Here are some interesting points:

1.  The Notice Date is Feb 27th

2.  Our field office is Newark NJ but they scheduled us for Mount Laurel, which according to USCIS processing time is better as Newark is at 4/5/16 and Mt. Laurel at 7/19/16  ( both as of 1/31/17 )

3.  Here's the kicker...  On the USCIS case status website, nothing has changed.  It still reads last update: 12/28/16  and for the I-485 the last thing that it has for fingerprint received on Dec 21, 2016

So it seems as though that site doesn't really get updated properly?!?!  I'm not sure but I have a physical appointment letter in my hand.

Sorry about this. ?

I checked your timeline to better assist you but there isn't any. Btw, when did you submit your application?

All i know is that even if you get RFIE/RFE, you should be able to have your biometrics done. Have you made an appointment with USCIS and go to a nearest local service center? Try this one to inquire about your biometrics.

Biometrics is very important as this is the initial step to take on all of your applications. Abandonment of the biometrics appointment date will mean forfeiture of all your applications.

Kindly provide me with a timeline and I will ask my lawyer about your status. Goodness, we should be from the same local office in Santa Ana, CA. If you haven't received "ready to be interviewed" status online, then your petition must be at the Missouri office still. This office is the National Benefits Center.

Hi Cooldude20, I've been on vacation so I haven't had a chance to reach you back!!! I have my complete AOS timeline in my signature area, maybe you are reading on your phone and you cannot see it somehow. My AOS is going well so far just my EAD is having some problems!! I sent my EAD package out 2.5 months after I sent my AOS package because I thought it would cost me more to file for EAD (stupid me). The EAD was delivered on February 14th, I recieved the Text/Email notification for that on Feb 15th and had the hard copy NOA1 of my EAD on Feb 21st and I haven't heard or got any Biometric for the EAD until now. I tried to call the Customer Service and the guy told me to wait for 30 days to call back!!! ? That is sooo annoying!! I cannot check the status online of my EAD until now!!!! Huhu

@Mthldou I feel for you, and telling u to hang in there is easier said than done. I would recommend finding a hobby because you'll go mad. For me I have school and work and a kindergartner. I've been anticipating this RFIE so as soon as it arrives fix the problem and send it out the next day.
