So do we.  I started to get nervous when others kept getting RFEs and I haven't received anything.  At first I thought it may have been a good thing but it seems a lot of people received one and we are just stuck here with a last update of the 28th as well.

Same here. No rfe. Will be our 67th day on monday. I will try to call on our 75th day if there is still no updates or changes. Let us keep ourselves updated.

Of course, but my husband/sponsor is self-employed meaning there are no W-2s, no letter from employer or pay stubs to show. Another self-employed guy in our AOS thread was hit with an RFE despite sending 4 years of tax returns and such. So I expect us to get an RFE for the same reason. The other guy was well over the poverty limit and so are we, but apparently they need more proof, not sure what kind of proof when you're self-employed.

Oh. I was talking about your form I-765. Coz I've seen a lot of members say that they are getting RFE for I-765.

AOS:

11/30/2016: Package sent

12/02/2016: Package delivered

12/13/2016: Checks cashed

12/14/2016: Texts/Emails received

12/19/2016: NOA1 mails received.

01/03/2017: Biometric appointment received which scheduled for 01/12/2017

01/11/2017: Status changed to "Request for Initial Evidence was mailed"

01/12/2017: Fingerprint was done.

02/11/2017: RFIE sent.

02/13/2017: RFIE delivered.

02/14/2017: status changed to Evidence was received.

02/13/2017: EAD Package sent.

03/09/2017: Case was ready to be scheduled.

05/22/2017: Card is being produced.

05/25/2017: Card was mailed

06/07/2017: Interview was scheduled for "07/11/2017"

No I'm not worried about that one, I sent everything and more. However, USCIS is known for losing documents, so who knows.. :o

USCIS is also known to be slow and unpredictable.

I wouldn't expect anything about the EAD or AP before the 90th day or even 95th. Just my thoughts. You can always attempt to expedite the employment authorization but you will need a valid reason and proof.

Yes. It will all happen in good time. I know the wait is difficult but it will happen. Just takes a lot patience but remember that good things happen to those wait :)

November/December/January is probably the worst time of the year to file for AOS.

Holidays, holidays then backlogged cases respectively.

If you look at the AOS time trend in the statistics section, AOS takes longer when filed during those months

Yeah I wonder why people decided to file that late in the year if they could have done it earlier. I didn't have a choice since we didn't get our marriage certificate until December 20, the AOS package had been ready for weeks, we just waited for that one document.

I think it is all about the circumstances. Most of the time people are waiting for a document.

I got married January of 2016, but wasn't able to file because of the 2-year home residency requirement rule on my J1 visa. The waiver process was starting to get smoother, and I thought I could file by late October-early November, but my the waiver got complicated again, and I had to wait for the decision notice (Received 12/07/16).

Not to mention that this year with the fee increase, everybody was rushed to file before 12/23.

Why are people so surprised to learn that some December filers have interview dates already? It happens every now and then that people actually get their greencard before their EAD has even been produced, it's not a surprise.
