Hi y'all! I'm second guessing my RFE response.

It was received on February 2nd and USCIS updated my status and it is currently under review.

The yellow slip asked the following

-tax returns with W2s and schedules. I had forgotten the W2s the first time.

I sent all that.

- wrong household size. I fixed it.

Then it said that my sponsor (husband) doesn't meet the income requirements, when he's actually 5,000 over the minimum.

They asked for assets or joint sponsor. But my husbands income is well enough.

So i sent 6 months of pay stubs, employment letter which states yearly gross income, and other job info

I called USCIS about it to make sure, they couldn't tell me much other than to prove that my husband makes enough.

I also sent W2s for 2016, we hadn't filed yet, but his income for 2016 is over the guidelines so I thoughts it'd be a good idea to send them. 2015 tax returns wasn't enough but 2016 is, and current income is also well over. I printed the 864p with the guidelines on them and highlighted the number that matches our situation

What do you guys think? Thanks.

I just mailed my RFE today using Priority Mail Envelop with the Signature Confirmation. However, instead of using the P.O Box, I used the ground office address (which is for Express Mail and Commercial Courrier) because there will absolutely no one at the P.O Box to sign my package. So is it considered appropriate address? ?

AOS:

11/30/2016: Package sent

12/02/2016: Package delivered

12/13/2016: Checks cashed

12/14/2016: Texts/Emails received

12/19/2016: NOA1 mails received.

01/03/2017: Biometric appointment received which scheduled for 01/12/2017

01/11/2017: Status changed to "Request for Initial Evidence was mailed"

01/12/2017: Fingerprint was done.

02/11/2017: RFIE sent.

02/13/2017: RFIE delivered.

02/14/2017: status changed to Evidence was received.

02/13/2017: EAD Package sent.

03/09/2017: Case was ready to be scheduled.

05/22/2017: Card is being produced.

05/25/2017: Card was mailed

06/07/2017: Interview was scheduled for "07/11/2017"

The tracking numbers estimate that my package will be delivered on this Saturday. Do you have any clue that they will work on Saturday? And what would happen if the mail man delivers it and the office is closed??? ?

How long more after they received your package and the case status changed to REFs received? I saw someone say that their changed to "under review" and some changed to "ready for interview". Hmmmm.... ?

If it is delivered Saturday then it probably won't be signed until Monday.

Some post offices are opened until 3 on Saturdays but I doubt anyone from USCIS works on Saturdays.

Mad for the status, it will say "RFE received" after a couple of days of it being delivered, then "under review" or "ready for interview". There's no perfect prediction as of when/ what they will say. All you can do is wait.

mine was delivered on the 2nd and USCIS updated my status the same day

The lady working at the post office told me that the package will be delivered on Monday because she thought USCIS won't open on Saturday. I hope my case status would jump from "RFE received" up to "card being produced". Haha
