I would recommend you call all the civil surgeons around you and ask for their prices. .

I called last week and the prices varied between $135 - $500. Mind you, I have my entire vaccination records.

If you do not want to get an RFE, then I wouls suggest you do a little price shopping

The cost is $680. Can you please send me your checklist. So I can send the AOS now and take the I693 to the interview

I sent mine without I-693. I think all they will do is ask you to bring it to the interview. I wasn't going to get a medical done and then wait possibly 1 year plus in AOS and only to have to redo the medical

@Kellyjakpa96 for the checklist, google on VJ and you will find ample of them, there are multiple threads running in this forum for that already. once you are near completion of your package, share what you made and people can further help you

also the price they have quoted to you for medical seems very high. It is more like $250-$500 depending on what vaccinations have to be done

Sent package on the 30th of nov and they (uscis lockbox Chicago) received it December 1st and still nothing yet. I hate this wait. I also have an approved I-130 so I hope my case moves along a bit faster.

I sent my package on December 5 for AOS concurrent filing. I am yet to receive any email notification and the check I posted along with it has not been withdrawn.

Please is anything wrong?

I don't want to pay new fees starting 23rd dec.

I just hope this is a normal delay

It is a normal process, some people get ther E-Notifications almost 10-15 days after the package is recieved at the Lockbox

I am in the same boat, i shipped on 5th and they recieved it on 7th. Its very nerve wrecking but then we have to be patient nothing else

I thought you pay the new fees if you application was received after Dec 23. In our cases, it was received long enough before that date.

As per https://www.uscis.gov/forms/our-fees :

"Applications and petitions postmarked or filed on or after December 23, 2016, must include these new fees or USCIS will reject your submission."

So any applications sent before that still have the current fees, it doesn't matter when they receive it.

Its good to hear this. I was planning calling them on Thursday my day off because u really would not want anything to make me pay the outrageous new fees after 23rd.

I also filed my Aos this month. Sent it on the 10th, it is received on the 12th !! Hoping for a notice very soon !!
