Aaaannd finally i got my interview letter too for exactly 1 month later, Jan 22, 2018. One thing i did notice is that the letter came from NBC and not from local Minnesota office. What about others ? Did you people get it from NBC too ? or local office.

Ongratuiarions for completing the interview, I have observed that in Minnesota office others have also gone through secondary checks, I wonder if it’s common for this field office ?

hopefullu your case will move forward very soon. Wishing you all the best and happy holidays.

I don’t think so.... I’m going to renew my EAD as well. I did my interview in November and still haven’t gotten a response. They told me they have 120 days to make a decision 😞😞😞😞😞

who told you about the 120 days timeline ? Interviewing officer ? Infopass ? Call center ?

Understand your frustration, on the positive side you will get automatic extension of 180 days once you apply for EAD

Biometrics are geneally valid for 15 months and you wont have to pay it at this point of time. Also for EAD+AP you dont need to pay anything if your I-130+i-485 is still pending.

hey all,

I'm sending out my AOS package soon. Did any of you decide to not send the I-693 (medical examination), and wait to take it to interview? If so, has anyone actually got a RFE for not sending in the medical with the package? I don't want it to expire, so would rather wait to take it to interview. However, I don't want to risk an RFE and risk delaying my EAD/AP!

02/14/18 - Married

03/02/18 - AOS Sent

04/02/18 - Biometrics appointment @ Field Office
