Thanks LTrucker. Did you get the letter in your house's mailbox? Mine is the letter they sent to my lawyer, I didn't even have one sent to my house (!) I think that's what I'll bring to the interview. Well, at least we get the interview date; there are a lot of other people still waiting. Praying for you, me, and all other fellows in the same situation

I did not raise any SR upon advice from my lawyer as the Florida offices was quite back-up with the hurricane. The weird thing is that my online account with USCIS is not updated at all: it still says "As of May 30, 2017, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSCxxxx for an interview. We will schedule your interview and send you a notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice." 

Is this normal? I and my spouse are both excited but nervous about the interview; this is about 10 months since our priority date in Dec 2016 to get the interview notice.  

 

Maddeningly for all of us going through this process, the online 'tracking' site isn't updated often enough, or with detailed enough info to be helpful or consistent.

 

I now have completed AOS and have my green card in hand (as of last week); the only timely info I managed to get from the site was an interview schedule notification, and the 'card processing' to 'card mailed' for my LPR card. My EAD details didn't actually update online until a week after I'd received the card itself.

 

So take what you read on the tracking site with a pinch of salt, and always go by the physical mail you receive!

Yes, I did. We did all our paperwork ourselves, so we got the notice letter in the mail. All the best to you! Hoping to hear good news in a couple of weeks from your side!

Complete shocker here, but came home today and checked the mail. Lo and behold their was a letter with the USCIS logo on it. Interview is scheduled for October 31st in Saint Paul/ Minneapolis. Caae status is still showing reading to schedule!

 

The processing times on the website must be highly inaccurate .

What a pleasant news !! Congratulations !! 

 

Considering I am Dec 2016 too from Minnesota i hope things move for me too. 

 

Website is almost useless for I-485 petitions, they are never updated properly

I am Dec 8 from Minnesota, relax, all shall be well. NYC is backed up big time too, if it comes to within 90 days of your EAD expiry, just apply for renewal. It’s frustrating and scary but that’s all you can do.

Nothing really. Still waiting for my interview letter. I was able to get my Ssn number , pass my learners permit test and travel back home.

Just got accepted into Penn State a few days ago. Things are definitely moving forward, now if this interview could come, it would all be complete !

 

What about you ? Been pretty busy lately, I haven’t kept up with this forum in a while.

i too have been waiting for the interview but with Minnesota lagging at almost 14 months I think I will end up applying renewal of the EAD/AP in December. Only way I have been able to remain sane is that I have been working all this while. 

 

Did your status change to “ready to schedule an interview”, mine is still stuck at “fingerprint received”, and the fact that the online status is legendary for being inaccurate I am not even sure if the case is really gone to the Field office or still stuck at NBC.

And no, my status hasn’t updated whatsoever !! One says « response to Uscis received » the other says « case received ».

 

Ive just checked myusps and I have a letter from Uscis coming my way. Hopefully it is the so wished for letter !

New York is definitely lagging too so I wasn’t even hoping for anything until at least Christmas !

They had already mailed me a letter asking me to redo my medical months ago. I can’t see what else it could be??! I can only think of the interview notice since it fits the timeframe. But, we shall know tomorrow !

So it is the Interview date !! October 16th it is. I’m a bit mad I’m just getting it since the notice is dated September 19th !! I still need to redo my medical ! But otherwise very happy to get this over this !

congrats! im so glad to see some of us moving forward on here finally. Did your case status ever update? mine still says ready for scheduling
