just wait for a day or two it'll show up on your MYUSPS app. For me it popped up the very next day after the case status was updated and the day after my card was delivered.

I saw your updated timeline showing that your parents got their EAD and AP combo cards  - Congratulations! My parents got theirs yesterday as well. We are both now waiting for the GC updates!

 

Have you started looking into health insurance for your parents? I wonder what's the best way for them to get the coverage that's also affordable.

11/30/2016: Package sent

12/02/2016: Package delivered

12/13/2016: Checks cashed

12/14/2016: Texts/Emails received

12/19/2016: NOA1 mails received.

01/03/2017: Biometric appointment received which scheduled for 01/12/2017

01/11/2017: Status changed to "Request for Initial Evidence was mailed"

01/12/2017: Fingerprint was done.

02/11/2017: RFIE sent.

02/13/2017: RFIE delivered.

02/14/2017: status changed to Evidence was received.

02/13/2017: EAD Package sent.

03/09/2017: Case was ready to be scheduled.

In MN state, she can get on the state insurance once she has her GC, with minimal cost due to her little to no income, otherwise she can get Obamacare now that she'll have SSN. Hopefully she can get employer's insurance if/when she starts working too

Still researching more on this though, including how claiming her for taxes affect her eligibility for some of these subsidies/benefits.

Most importantly, I'm just grateful she is very healthy for the most part. 

 

Per GC, You are one step ahead of me. You are already on queue for interview, my local office? processing April 3, 2016 :(

H1B. There isn't any interview. My case status changed from biometrics to card production.

We had our interview today - APPROVED on the spot! Green card was said to arrive in 3 weeks  :jest: The agent was very nice and made it a breeze. He pretty much told us he'd approved our case before we got there. We just gave him the complete medical, did finger prints, took picture, he asked 4 questions (what is your name, have you ever been been involved in terrorist activity, have you ever sold drugs, have you ever been denied entry into the US), and told us what we need to do to remove conditions 1yr and 9mo from now. And done!! Reputting our packet together and bringing all of the new, additional evidence was unnecessary. He didn't look at any of it. But, better to be safe than sorry. (This part at least is) OVER!!!. Finally!!! Time to do some traveling :) I'll keep you updated on when the card actually arrives.

 

For those awaiting your interview, good luck!

And those still waiting to get scheduled for an interview, keep the faith! Try to hang in there.

💃💃💃💃💃💃. Congrats, it must be a great feeling. I can't wait for my time to come up. Miss my dad and family in Jamaica so much but I will just wait patiently just glad I got my work permit so I can at least work legally

Yes, thanks @Bronxnyc So relieved to finally have some sort of legal status and to be able to get a job (just got EAD/AP card a few days ago). I started looking for tickets to JA 2 hours after our interview lol Can't wait to go back home and visit!! :D 

 

Having your work permit help a lot. Did you get AP with your work permit? If you did, and you anticipate a long wait for your interview, and you feel comfortable traveling on your AP, go visit your family!! I'm sure they miss you too.

What are they doing with me case? I've received my EAD and they've received the RFE response about 40 days ago. My case doesn't say "ready for interview " what's next? Should I call them?
