Also, when I called after receiving the "card in production " update , I was told not all cases update to "mailed" , just like not all cases show a tracking number .( I never received any tracking info, even after "card was mailed" and speaking to a tier 2//// + i couldn't track it via myusps).

The officer just said "officially, it takes 60 days but after getting approved, you should receive it within 2 weeks" 

 

 

That makes sense. Even I spoke to the tier 2 agent when I received the "card in production " update and she told me to call back after two weeks if you don't see your card in the mail. Will wait for few more days. Thank you.

So today we got the I-130 and I-765 approval notices in the mail.

 

We got a change to "new card is being produced" on the I-765 on 12/4 and so far have had no updates on the I-130 and I-765. (Last I-765 update 13/3 was "Interview is scheduled")

 

So based on others posts here, supposedly we should get EAD mailed tomorrow. I wonder if we will get the GC sent too?

I applied for a ITIN number and I filed a joint tax return with my husband. I got a letter with my ITIN after almost 7 weeks I applied for. After 3 weeks, on 4/12 we got the tax return. The same day my ead status changed to "card in production". Such a lucky day!

Hi,

I received the approval notice for i-485 and i-130 today in the mail. Also when checked the status online, it shows on 17th April a new card was mailed . Expect to receive the green card On Wednesday...And it's so strange my status for I-765 still shows case was received. So before that I already received green card, so no use of I-765

Yeah I'm so glad I got my ssn cause hubby put on his credit cards so I got awesome credit history 💃💃💃

Congrats !! 

Like I said, don't forget to notify IRS etc if you had an Itin before, you're not supposed to have both active.

Your post is a bit confusing as it seems you are mixing up I-485 with I-765 and I-130 with I-131.

let me try to answer...

Once your GC is approved in the system (verbal approval does not mean much), you will get your I-485 "card production", & then "mailed" updates just like your I-765 and subsequently receive in the mail.

Your I-130 will just be " we approved.." update

Nah, I'm good. Aplying for ITIN wasnt worth it for me, so I filed an extension.  I will just be filing my taxes when SSN is received

However, since that time point, we didn't hear any more updates - no actual EAD/AP cards in mail as of today!!! The waiting is driving us insane. 

 

Here is what I have on myUSCIS.gov for the case update as of today:

1) I-485 - 3/29/2017, ready to schedule I-485 for an interview;

2) I-130 - 12/27/2016, received I-130;

3) I-131 - 12/27/2016, received I-131;

4) I-765 - 4/6/2017, ordered new card and will mail it to the address you gave us.

 

I assume that the next step is to get the EAD and AP cards in mail, am I correct? Any idea how long we have to wait until we get more updates?

Most folks get "card was mailed" update after the "ordered new card" update and received card soon after .

I would reach out to USCIS by Thursday if you have not receive your card, (granted every process is gettign slower with USCIS each day) as It would have been 2 weeks. Unless you see similar trend of folks waiting that long with no update or card delivery.

 I will be following your progress as I'm also filing for a parent, granted You will be probably be done before me as my local office is sloooooow

That's what I should have done.... especially when we are expecting a refund. My ITIN application got lost so I have to start all over again.

So my status says that the green card has been mailed yesterday. I have a question, does it get delivered as the same way like the letters in the mailbox?? or I have to be physically present to receive rthe card from the mailman? Does anyone have any idea ??

Does that mean you don't have ITIN # yet. so did you file taxes yet?

If not filed yet, you can file for tax an extension today and just file your taxes when you have your SSN

It gets delivered. Signature certainly not required

Most times production moves through well, with the card being mailed within weeks.. but occasionally the production process also has glitches (mine sat in production for 6 months -apparently  being attempted to be produced over and over again but failing production each time) 

 

If the update hasnt been changed to MAILED in  30 days try calling USCIS again  and consider an Infopass appt. You may  never get a tracking number  number update. 

Ordering card is the approval/first online update for EAD
