I actually tried signing up for this a few months back, and could not get pass the questions stage. I answered truthfully to all, but could not verify me, so I'm gonna have to do the in person verification.

Could just be taking a while for usps to update too.Its been 2 days , I wouldn't worry yet. Uscis isn't the fastest agency as we have all know here ?????

Question to everyone : Did you all submit proof of current income for i864 ?

I had just sent our latest tax return (2015) the first time and never received a Rfe for it( our current income: proof) My Rfe is all about our joint sponsor re-sending her 864form.

 

Asking because my RFIE just says " file i864 (joint sponsor), include 2015 tax return and tax supporting documents for 2015.... it doesn't mention anything about proving her current income ( she's retired and i just copied her 2015 retirement tax form + social security benefits tax form).

The customer service guy told me to Only include what is asked , he said never to add anything to a RFE but what is asked and I'm just suspicious about all that.

I totally agree with this. I've had my EAD in hand for 3 weeks and the update still says that it's been mailed to me. Never been updated to "card has been delivered". My i485 has been stuck on fingerprint fee received since 12/20. Hopefully that's a glitch that it's stuck also and is ready for interview (just no date yet). 

 

BTW hi guys. Dec filer from CA. not sure if this is the right thread for me. So many to choose from!! Going from DACA and applied thru my USC wife.

Nope. 

Myusps automatically updates your "dashboard" with all tracked packages/mail coming your way.

I had sent in the 6 most recent payslip along with employment letter which also included his current income

By the way, i believe that the status "Card was mailed to me" is the final one after getting the EAD.

 

For your I-485, I just dunno why the status remained that way. Let's pray that you are eligible for an interview waiver. Or somehow, your case might be stuck in a background check. 

 

Many possibilities.. one thing we have to do is to wait patiently.. ???

 

I am hoping for the best for all of us. More positive vibes and results..

i am still waiting for getting the supposed letter which was mailed on march 10 as a response to my service request, no idea what it says 

Congrats on EAD, Did you ever get this "response to my service request" letter?

I seem to be getting same generic response for an SR i submitted on 03/15. Want to know what to expect

Thank you, no i never go the response. That is the exact reason that was driving me crazy, waiting for the snail mail in the mailbox

 

Finally i called and talked to the Tier II officer, and because they have access they can tell you exactly what was sent to you, she also said they replied through email and not a physical letter. This "supposed" email i never recieved and i even checked spam periodically to make sure. 

 

Anyways, that elusive email just said that my case would be adjudicated soon, and it was in the next 6 days

 

So i would recommend you to talk to Tier II officer.

Son of a gun. You are very correct sir. I could have sworn that my previous updates for documents from USCIS always updated to "document delivered". But I just went back to check my last one and you're right only the "document has been mailed" update showed. 

 

And yes I'm kind of hoping I'm in a similar case to those whose online status never updated to "ready for interview". But you can never tell with USCIS. At least I have my EAD to work. Some others haven't even gotten that yet!

Did any of y'all who already got their EAD approved had a RFE before ?

 

After a tier 2 finally calling me back, I feel like this is going to take a while.The Rfe comes from the local office . The response is received by the National Benefits Center .They then send it to your local office and if it's approved , the National Center starts working again on the Ead. The officer assured me my case would progress from day 85 ( day Rfe was sent) but then says " nowadays EAD take from 90 days up to 180 days ". How long can all of this take ??

My status online has never been updated. It is still the same as when I first received my NOA1. This was on January 13th. 

 

Do you think my case has been forgotten somewhere, or this is just what happens?
