So they still didnt say anything to you about your case? I know you posted the other day about it. Did you call them again?

When I called they gave me a inquiry conf number and said to call back if not heard anything from them within 30 days. I'm just documenting all this until I've had enough before turning to CIS Osbudsman

QUESTION FOR ALL DEC 2016 FILERS IN NEBRASKA!!!! Did anyone get approved like 2 months ago or recently? Because alot of people in Feb-March 2017 with Nebraska are saying that the update on USCIS website is 2 months behind so basically that they are working on Jan-Feb. It shows Dec 9th!!!! Please let me know. This is nerve wrecking. Goodluck to everyone.

We were Just approved at exactly 9 months September 14.  with Nebraska my pd is December 14/16 and besides i been getting alot of approves on my app from December Filers. so yes they are working on December for sure.

Thank you so much, I have seen comments that some people have been approved with Nebraska for Jan-Feb. Most definitly then they are working on Dec. I still have 3 months to go I guess lol. My PD is march 9th so hopefully in end Nov-Dec.

The people who get approved quickly are Philippines or they had a Current Visa. and besides I've noticed if you have a lawyer is much faster good luck.

Hi, guys, I got the RFE last night. My NOA date is Jan 7th. But my priority date is Dec 27th.  It's weird, I'm never sure of what date to use.  But yes, USCIS received my packet on Dec 22nd but because of holidays, I'm sure they didn't open until Dec 27th.
Now, RFE on Sep 21, 2017.  Once I know what the RFE is for, I'll update. Altho researching, I think its because I didn't send an official translation of some documents.  I did the translations myself.  So maybe that's what killed it.

I'm sorry to see that you got a RFE, but don't worry much about it because it won't really affect your approval time any much... I've seen cases here that got approved few days after their RFE was received by USCIS.

For the NOA date it is always the Notice date from the NOA letter you received via snail mail, that is the date you use here on VJ timelines... Don't worry about the PD it is not used for NOA1.

...do good and good will be done onto you...

Nebraska processing dates were updated 3 times in the past 6 days..first on 18th September and then again on 21 & 22

Feels strange because I've never seen 3 updates in one month. But what's the point of updating it several times unless you change dates :( even after 3 updates it still 9 Dec only! :(

I also noticed that CSC on Sept 18 read one thing and now reads another. I have no idea what they're doing but it's not right as our heart strings are at stake here and it hurts a lot..

You won't have any lost time, maybe that'll actually help to keep your mind off of things.

It'll be at least a month till you can do anything, and the NOA2 doesn't have anything you'll need.

For instance, I'm on week 4 now I think and still waiting till I can get my case number.

I'm hoping by the end of this week.

You'll get another notice when it goes to the department of state, maybe in 2 weeks, then another week or 2 till they'll have it and it takes them time to process it still.

FYI I got my next email update with the NVC case number/invoice number on Fri 9/22, so 10 business days.  I would DEFINITELY follow up if you haven't received anything yet.

Even i cannot understand whats going on..I really wonder if they review in the order applications were filed? They don't seem to:angry:. Everything is so messed up and disorganised :( My PD is 13 but Nebraska current date is till 9 Dec only so is it possible to talk to a tier 2 operator at this stage or should we wait till PD date becomes current? Any suggestion? we're also thinking of getting congressmen involved as its 9 plus month of waiting for NOA 2. They can at-least make an inquiry. Will that  help move our case forward?

I Seen that also but keeps saying Dec 9th. Last time I seen Sep 22nd.

Such Updates are meaningless...They are not doing any good to any body! May Almighty help us all.

Ours is Dec 6,  apparently they are not being reviewed in the order they are received I'd also done it inquiry it said to wait 60 days which be October 25th if I have not heard by then to call them but I didn't wait I called talk to a two-tier officer and he told me the same all he done was read my email back to me so here I wait again until October 25th the wait is heart-wrenching
