Was eagerly waiting for 15th sept so that i could get some sort of update about Nebraska current processing dates but I'm utterly disappointed :( No updates since Beginning of August 2017 i guess. Still shows 26 November :( My PD is 13 Dec...i read some cases with similar case # got approved but no update yet on my one....so close yet so far!

Why don't they update in timely manner? Anyways, I wish good luck everyone who is waiting like me. Hopefully We will know something by Monday.

I have hope and I have strength but what I'm lacking is understanding why a person can file in April this year and be approved already in Texas and yet Nebraska can't handle nothing of what they have in a timely matter. I can't even say on here what I think of Nebraska as it's very ugly....

Now what? Page has been updated now. 9 dec.

I'm a Dec 6 filer, I've seen people befor me and after me in Nebraska get approvals, there's no rhyme to thier reasoning, just being patient now,

I am dec 5. My husband has just submitted inquiry. They have asked us to wait till 10 oct for their respond.

This is just nerve recking

Hey all

I hope you are all staying strong, it will come eventually.

We just got our notification from NVC with our number, although we have to wait a week before accessing it, but the weird thing is they list what the process will entail and end it with:

"....when we schedule your interview at the embassy in Pristina, KOSOVO."

We live in Macedonia and the embassy we have been working with is in their capital of Skopje. Anyone know why they might send us to whole different country (even if it is a neighboring one). My husband really doesn't want to have to go there as it is not very safe.

Also I was trying to find the thread about the NVC level but not sure which one it is, can someone direct me to the right one. Thanks

THanks all and good luck

Well guys, here it is...we are officially out of normal processing time (PD 12/6). Can everyone please share your experiences filing an inquiry? I have heard mixed reviews about it. Some have said that submitting an inquiry pushed their case back by 30-60 days and others have said it does not. I want to submit an inquiry but the last thing I want to do is push our case back even more. I'd appreciate hearing about your experiences because I won't bother doing it if it does push your case back.

No that will not push your case back, that what some people say and they just heard it from someone and that messages passed round having people believe that what will happened. Those USCIS told someone that but don’t believe that. Whoever work at UCIS said that so no one can request it.

go ahead and do it.

I did it and that is not what casing my processing to take long.

In my experience it doesn't. I wrote a letter to my congresswoman and filed an inquiry.  It caused no additional delays. My case was approved 8/22 after 253 days at Nebraska.

Actually, I got the approval before a response to the inquiry. Finally about a week after the approval they responded to the inquiry <_<
