Notification through the app. I signed up for email text but didn't get those as of yet. I'm not sure about the mail notice because Harvey has the offices all closed.

Hey dear! Dont worry. I am with you.. i know you miss your husband as much as i miss my husband. Every morning i wake up, praying and hoping to see some goodnews..i dont know whats wrong. I am afraid that i might have been hit by RFE and dont know yet. I feel so broken. I have been with him for only 13 days. Its been 9 months i last saw him. I cry every day and every night. Sometimes i let him see my tears and sometimes i hide them. I dont know what to do. Just wait i guess.

Yes I do my share of crying also. I to miss my husband so much that every night I wake up in the night with all this immigration slowness on my mind and then can't sleep. Some days I'm so down that I can't even eat well. Yes this is the most painful process that we have to endure but when it's said and done, we will have a closeness to our husbands that others can never experience unless they've gone through this very painful process... I will keep u in prayer and remember this is all in Gods hands 🙏

Oh ok, well I'm glad you had a smooth experience. I've heard mixed reviews; some people say if they don't ask, don't tell (about pending petition) while others say it's better to tell them about it upfront because if they feel that you withheld that information it's not good. So I don't know...but thanks for answering my questions. I appreciate it!

Just answer the question truthfully, I said I was visiting family and friends, both true statements if he'd asked what family I had here I would have answered my husband. The key is always be truthful but never volunteer information that could lead to all sorts of questions and if the officer isn't happy with the response you could find yourself on your way back.

It probably helps I've visited a few times - and never overstayed.

As for withholding information, you don't have to tell the officer your doing the I-130 but if he asks you must answer all questions honestly. As long as you don't out right lie nothing will come of it.

Your husband should be fine, remember you're not doing anything illegal - you are allowed to visit your spouse.
