hello .. any news from nebraska service center for I-130

december filers??

Nebraska december shouldn't be hearing anything till at least mid July.

I see you're phillipines, usually they get processed faster.

You can see the latest approved applicants here. Of course this is just a small subset of people who use the site and actually update their info.

I believe November and December were the months where the most amount of petitions were filed. 1 being the elections going on and 2nd being that fact that the fees were increasing. So a lot of people filed their petitions.

Just hoping that Nebraska picks up the pace, its been the slowest service center because of the number of applications it processes every month.

I am not sure if they even have a proper process in place to share the load amongst all service centers. Also there isnt any specific method to the madness of transfers from one service center to another. Its your luck if you end up getting transferred from one to another.

I am coming up on on my 7 months too at Nebraska. :(

This is false advice. My wife came on a tourist visa. She brought her NOA2 approval letter with her as well as the submitted I 130 and asked what was the purpose of her visit she said to visit her husband. Then asked when she was returning home..

please do not discourage people from visiting their spouses based upon a false premise.

We were approved on the 20th. See my lengthy post in this thread and Frankfurt review.

Hey! My I-130 has been filed by my husband in Dec 2016 and still not approved. I traveled to the US on a tourist visa last week to visit my husband and would like to share my experience with you all. At the US customs, I explained clearly that the purpose of my visit was to visit my husband and had to be back to work in Turkey in 9 days. The officer asked me why I came to the US, how long my stay is, our marriage date, my husband's job and where he lives and whether I plan to move to the US or not. He didn't even want to check my return flight info or employment letter.

The questionnaire part was quicker than I expected. I was very nervous before my trip but apparently, it was unnecessary. So if you have a valid tourist visa and want to visit your spouse while your I-130 is being processed, don't be afraid!

Make sure that you state your situation well and have enough evidence showing your intention is not to stay in the country!

Hi everyone!!! We also flew into the US last wed! My husband went thru the same line as me. I provided my US passport while my husband his tourist visa. The officer asked my husband how long he was staying in the US. He answered one month. Officer said, great have a nice stay. One minute total. It was not a problem

Hey all, so we are going to be in the US hopefully when my husbands I-130 is sent to NVC, so we want to make sure we have all the documents we need from Macedonia.

Does anyone know with the police report, do you have to have fingerprints?? It is proving rather difficult to get them, as they say we need to get a special form from the US embassy before they will issue them..

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Hi... my PD is December 2, 2016. Only notification was case receipt and it was sent to Nebraska Service Center. Almost 8 months of wait... anybody in the same situation?

They'll probably start getting to Dec in the next 2 weeks. It's averaging up to 8 months now because of the rush of applicants at the end of the year.

I'm the 3rd week of December.

Check out the Nebraska thread if you haven't yet, lots of talk on it.
