What's your confusion?

Did you change your address?

Otherwise, just look at the guide, some steps might be a little outdated but the overall process/waiting is the same.

We didnt change address. Just thinking coz i saw with other blogs, after receiving noa1 after few weeks they have the noa2 already. Ours is almost 3 months.

Yeah I've seen people from your country have fast process times, i'm not sure the reason, there should be a sub forum for your region, you might want to look around or ask in there, they might have better answers for you.

Case Was Sent To The Department of State

On October 27, 2016, we sent your case, Receipt Number SRCXXXXXXX, to the Department of State for visa processing. Please visit our website for general information on Consular Processing. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

this is exactly what comes up when you log into USCIS website. If you are referring to the tracker -- it will say "case was sent to Department of State"

Its center specific --- since your case number starts with the letters of your service center. The tracker just pulls whatever number of cases that you ask for consecutively after your start point (your case).

Thanks for answering. I stopped checking. It's too agonizing and frustrating and only makes the waiting game worse.

Still haven't seen any approvals for December (Potomac)?

So you do this when you are logged in right? and then you have to individually put in the case number in the "add case" field?

and then you cannot filter to just i-130's?  Dear lord that is just too much work. You enter 500 cases individually and have to see every other type of case. lol.  Fo-get-aboWWWdit.

Why do the current  processing times on the Visa Journey page greatly differ from the official Government USCIS pages? Why does the Visa Journey page not list Potomoc. Even if it is an overflow location, why not list it? You can always update it when the Govt no longer sends 130's there. Visa Journey lists the NSC in current processing times but when you go to the drop down menu in the USCIS site it does not have the NSC selection there it's kind of funny really.

What do you mean by not list Potomac?

All the times reflected on the monthly filters page below are times reported by people. The USCIS website is never accurate as they update it when they want to and who knows how they base their dates. It might be that they are processing dates after the one they report on the website but then we see people from earlier dates getting prcessed. So its just becomes a guessing game.

http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthly_filers.php?form=2&visa=3&scenter=6&option=2&sortby=2

You can get an idea of when a certain month starts getting processed based on what people are reporting but as to when your application will be processed is an actual mystery.

The times reported above is what will give you an idea as to what people are seeing while the USCIS is what they are reporting. Now the actual processing of an application is dependent on a whole lot of factors, some of them listed below.

1. Country of citizenship as there are a few countries that get their applications processed quicker as compared to others due to one reason or another, example, i believe Philippines being one of them due to some tsunami back in the day?

2. The application being with a certain processing center

3. The mood of the person who is reviewing the application, after all they are all humans and one being in a bad mood might delay or be slow or might leave one and move to another and then come back to it some other day. you never know.

4. If there is a need to expedite an application.

a whole lot of other factors play into it, i dont have enough knowledge about it all.

Visa Journey is only as good as the member's actively on it, at any given time. All of VJ data is self-reported by members.... obviously the number of people using VJ and actually maintaining their timelines (which is where VJ is getting the info to give you processing estimates) is significantly smaller than the universe of applications held by USCIS.

Also, USCIS website is not always updated or in sync with what is really going on. It can be a bit of a black box. I have found that VJ data was closer to my experience than what USCIS "officially" predicted.

This is right on the front page of the "Processing Times" page.  Why is Potomac not listed as one of the centers?  Overflow or not. There are a good number transferred there of late.

Isn't Potomac a new service center (2014)? VJ admins might have forgotten to add that center to the list.

Also, I have been checking the tracker this evening and they're processing December. LOTS of RFE's.

I just checked the tracker. I went to the charts and selected I-130.  I see zero RFE's, 8 rejects and 172 in the 'other' category. Am I doing this right?

I noticed that today when I looked on the app, I didn't see many approvals, but loads of RFE's for early December.

We used Rapid Visa company to ensure we would not get any RFE. Did not want to put anymore stall time in the process. It was money well spent it would seem at this point due to the drawn out NOA2 process.
