Hello everybody

Nebraska processing time just took a hit: yesterday VJ was showing 29-Aug but today it is showing 24 Aug.

Not really sure what's going on in Nebraska, but it is not looking good

11/17/2016: Got engaged
11/28/2016: I-130 sent to Chicago IL lock box
01/12/2016: NOA1

Mine was delivered to Chicago on the 12th, no notice yet, from what I've seen others were getting notices from Chicago two days later. Hoping to hear something next week.

I just got NOA1 delivered Dec 13th NOA1 Dec 20th Nebraska service center unfortunately I just checked processing times, they're at 7 months ?

I honestly just started going backwards by 10000 until I hit the Oct/November range.

 

I haven't checked recently as I travelled to the US to spend some time with the wife and attend some of her prenatal appointments.

5/3/19 - Dropped package at UPS

5/6/19 - UPS ship package

5/7/19 - Package is delivered

5/10/19 - NOA1 Issued

5/13/19 - Check is cashed

5/14/19 - NOA1 received in the mail

5/24/19 - Biometrics Appointment letter received

6/4/19 - Biometrics appointment

6/6/19 - Case is updated online with "Fingerprint Review Was Completed"

5/5/20 -  Case is updated online with "Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview"

1/19/21 - Appointment to get passport stamped

I did an info pass last week and was told that they are processing cases from first week of December right now. I hope this helps and I hope it's accurate. Fingers crossed!!!

NOA2 issued date: 8/18/2017   NOA2 hardcopy received: 8/25/2017

Notice from USCIS Sent to NVC: 9/1/2017    NVC received: 9/8/2017

Received case and invoice numbers: 9/12/2017

Choice of Agent DS-261: 9/12/2017

Welcome Letter: 9/15/2017

Received and Paid AOS: 9/15/2017    AOS payment cleared my bank: 9/19/2017 (still shows In Process on CEAC)

Received and paid IV bill: 9/19/2017    IV bill cleared bank: 9/21/2017

Requested Expedite: 9/20/2017

AOS and IV show as paid: 9/23/2017

DS260 unlocked: 9/23/2017

Partial Expedite Approved at Counselor Level: 9/25/2017 (Must still wait out NVC)

Scan Date: 10/2/2017    Case Complete: 11/15/2017 (6 weeks 2 days!)

Case sent to consulate: 11/20/2017     Received by consulate: 11/21/2017 (11/20 was a holiday in Mexico)

Interview Scheduled: Jan 2nd - I managed to get someones canceled appointment the very same day my case status turned to Ready.

Biometrics: Mexico City Dec 27th Medical: Mexico City Dec 28th

Case says READY but consulate says case is not in system, I jumped the gun and booked an interview but they say its invalid until I receive the letter so I might have to cancel it.

Appointment Letter: Flew to Juarez just to get this, its actually 2 letters you need.

Interview Day: Jan 2nd   Interview Result: APPROVED

Tracking Number Received: Via email notice and website the afternoon of Jan 4th    Visa Delivered: Friday Jan 5th Mexico City

USCIS Notice - Green Card mailed: 3/28/18

Yes, I've made several infopasses since I filed. There are times when they tell what's going on and then at times they read their standard script. So I guess it just depends on the person sitting there. Please let us know as soon as possible when you get approved. This is such a painstaking process.

Hello there! Newbie here! 

Just want to share about our case and waiting game is also really not my kind of game. We filed our docs last Dec. 2016 then got our letter that it was approved and have the priority date (jan 12) And case number Jan. 20. 

 

Do we need to do anything after that?? The letter says call a specific number if theres change in ad? :(

What's your confusion?

Did you change your address?

Otherwise, just look at the guide, some steps might be a little outdated but the overall process/waiting is the same.
