This particular transfer is real and different from the February/March glitch that affected almost everyone. All of us who got this real transfer happen to have it on May 1st and also on May 3rd and are receiving actual letters in the mail about it.

Adjustment of Status From F-1 Visa.

8/14/2014: Mailed AOS package: I-130, I-485, I-765.

8/18/2014: Accepted in Chicago. Transferred to Nebraska Service Center.

8/21/2014: Received NOA 1. I-130, I-485, I-765 in mail.

8/25/2014: Received biometrics in mail. Scheduled for 9/8/2014

9/24/2014: EAD approved. 36 Days!

10/01/2014: EAD mailed.

10/03/2014: Received EAD card.

10/14/2014: I-485 moved to testing and interview.

1/28/2015: Interview scheduled for 3/4/2015.

1/31/2015: Received interview notice.

3/4/2015: Interview completed and APPROVED!

3/5/2015: Welcome notice mailed and I-130 Approved.

3/10/2015: Welcome notice and I-130 approval notice received.

3/12/2015: Green card mailed.

3/14/2015: Green card delivered.

Removal of Conditions: 

12/14/2016: Mailed I-751.

12/19/2016: NOA issued.

01/26/2017: Biometrics.

05/03/2018: I-751 transfered to NBC.

02/27/2019: Joint I-751/N-400 Interview.

05/14/2019: I-751 APPROVED.

Naturalization:

12/02/2017: Mailed N 400 to Phoenix, AZ Lockbox. (I-751 still pending)

12/05/2017: Package delivered in Phoenix, AZ. Transferred to Harrisonburg Processing Center.

12/07/2017: Notice of action issued. (IOE)

12/26/2017: Biometrics.

01/23/2019: Interview Scheduled for 2/27/2019.

02/27/2019: Joint I-751/N-400 interview. N-400 recommended for approval.

05/16/2019: N-400 APPROVED! Placed in line for oath ceremony.

05/17/2019: Oath ceremony notice mailed.

06/12/2019: Swearing in Ceremony! Finally a U.S. citizen!

I am noticing that it is very real. I just haven't seen any update from my March glitch. Im praying soon though.

Not entirely true some non N400 filers also got transfer notices as well.

I just called USCIS to know if the transfer of my file to local office is true or not. So far tier 1 confirmed this...but waiting for tier 2 to ask if is true. 

Its a looong wait since december 2016 and I want to place my N400 but I have read mixing info about benefit on waiting till get on hand the green card. and dont mess anymore the timming .:(

someone has any questions to ask tier 2? they said I have one hour wait till they call me back

The tier 2 will confirm that the case is actually NOT at the Local Office and is in fact still at the CSC within normal processing times.

The mail is here but the mailman is taking his sweet time filling up the mailboxes and refuses to give me my mail before he's done with all mailboxes lol.. Ok troop, got my letter (from California Service Center), case transferred to NBC :S maybe they are combining this with my N400? But then again I've heard others who got the same notice and they did not apply for N400 :S

I know another person in the forums (don't remember exactly which user) who applied for N400 and got a transfer notice like we did and 1 month later his i751 was approved even though his N400 was still pending.. So it might as well have nothing to do with N400s but maybe they are just balancing the load between offices :S

So here's a funny thought, 95% this didn't happen but it makes me feel better about it if i think of it this way. I have applied for N400 and my local office is Newark. So let's assume that Newark is ready to interview me for N400 (let's just assume). 

 

Newark would then have to contact CSC to get my I751 files since that's still pending.. So if I got 2 separate transfer notices 3 days apart, could that mean that CSC send my case to NBC and then NBC send my case to Newark? I know it's a stretch but that could be a possibility :S
