New update from yesterday. Now it states  Jurisdiction... Hopefully, this means something

Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction

On May 3, 2018, we transferred your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number WAC1XXXXXXXX, to another USCIS office. That office now has jurisdiction over your case. We sent you a notice that explains why we moved your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by June 2, 2018, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Sadly, nothing posted or emailed or texted or anything for me.  Nothing since the March glitch...although I am not sure a transfer to my local office would be any better...Orlando has a backlog too...Field Office timeline for I-751 is 21.5 to 46.5 months...but maybe "another office" doesn't mean "Field Office"?  Hard to tell with the new USCIS website layout

They are def not transfering them to local offices from what we have seen. Field office transfer is reserved for interviews whether be it I751 interview or citizenship combo interview.

21.5 to 46.5 seems like a  computer generated time line, because most I751 sent to local offices before this whole messy backlog were fishy cases that needed a lot of extra investigating.

No one still married with a straightfoward case is waiting 46 months. Thats just shy of 4 years.

Same computer that generates the current 17.5 to 19 months for CSC I-751...and the one they use to determine whether your file is "outside normal processing times".  I agree that those would be extremes...

That said, if it isn't local office, where are the field offices?  What is the difference?  Or are these transfers we are now seeing to VSC?

There are 3 other centers I believe, Nebraska center, which seems very fast at processing any I751 transferred there, Taxes center which seems to be just as bad as CSC and another center that starts with a P that i cant think of right now.

A computer generating a timeline using I751 that were processed at a certain location would not be very accurate for a location that doesnt process too many I751s.

The reason the processing time is very accurate for CSC is because the computer is taking the data of thousands of apps processed there in the last year.

But let say the program were to generate a timeline for a local office that had only 1 I751 case processed there in the last year and that case was a high risk fraud case that took 46 months to process then the timeline would say I751s take 46 months at local offices.

The point is, you cant trust the time line for local offices because they dont normally process I751s and the timeline would take months if not a year or more to start becoming accurate if they start actually transferring bulk files there.

What would a high risk fraud case even look like??

I think the local office thing is a glitch and I wanna know where my case file is 😩😩😩

So I just called uscis and I was able to talk to a tier 1 and he said the update simply means they are working on the case and the files are moving inside California and not transferred. I wasn’t satisfied  with that so I asked to be transferred to a tier 2 and now I m expecting a call back in few mins. Imma keep y’all posted

Well I just got off the phone with the officer a very nice and friendly woman . She said the case was transferred on the first of may and it’s a lot of case being transferred  and my notice was sent on the 3rd cos she placed me on hold and after 3mins she said that was what she finds out that I should get the mail by Monday latest Friday. So let’s wait till next week and see what we got in the mail. Best of luck y’all. And so for the local office that was the message I got on feb 25 and 26 and wen I called they said it was a glitch . I submitted a service request and got a reply after a week that the case is still under normal processing timeframe that they are sorry for the misinformation on the website,

I just spoke with the nicest Tier 2 officer and my case is still at CSC. He said I should see some activity on my case soon. So all those who have the Local Field Office glitch. Rest easy knowing that your case is still at the CSC. He said they would never transfer it to a local office as it would take too long to process.

Have a great weekend everyone and God bless!
