Hello, i had case transfer on may first like many people did, today another transfer on may 3rd, same exact previous transfer. But now the automated system voice message is that the case has been transfered to NBC Missouri. My question is, does any one have an idea why would my case be transfered to NBC Missouri over a month and a half after the interview. No pending N400. Just i 751

You filled in December 2016 and had I 751 interview over 1,5 months ago?

I think it's a glitch. Why would they transfer my case after an interview. Or planned torture hoping that we die from waiting:jest: before we get the 10 year cards

Hey guys I think this notice of a thing is a glitch cos I got a notice that my case was transferred on May 1 and today again another notice that it got transferred on the 3rd but the phrase changed to My case was transferred to another office . “Sigh”

Right you need to track it with the 1800 number and hear what it say mine says my case was transferred to Niguel California. Don’t even know what to believe at this point 😂

Yep same as i did, i checked the 800 number 3 times today, first one at 1215 local time it says case transfer(no mention where to) on may 1st and we sent you notice 797 transfer, at 12:40 it says we transfered your case to NBC Missouri and sent you a notice on may 3rd. At 3pm it says case transfered to laguna miguel california and sent you a notice on may 3rd. I give up:rolleyes:. I'll just apply for N400 when am eligible and uscis can keep the i751 filing fee, so much stress on something that should be done within 3 months

Ok everybody i think i may have good news to those who are having case transfer and new office have jurisdiction over your case, i could be so wrong but it actually makes so much sense to me. Tier 2 officer just told me that the reason why we see so many transfers, one day may 1st,another may 3rd, one minute transfer to NBC and another minute to california is because all that means is that our cases being worked on by different departments, each department working on an aspect of the case they update the system and it ends up showing on our end case transfered and so on. It makes sense to me because those who had this transfer are mostly applicants due for a decision(old cases). And few exceptions like me because i had an interview long time ago. I hope he's right. So i think approvals for us are coming very soon, he didn't mention that part

I got totally different info by tier 2 yesterday. Posted it 1-2 pages back.

I bet 3rd officer would say something else as well.

Different departments working on each and every case? Makes NO Sence.

Only time will tell. Am like you confused by that part, how come so many departments work on the same case, i thought it's worked on by one officer and that's it, but who knows what they do. With those bank statements and phone bills etc. But it makes some sense to me based on past posts i read on vj seems to show before approvals some people get few updates, either few transfers or name and date of birth updates

I had my case transfer notification on 5/1, but it doesn't say new office jurisdiction over my case. It says on the old USCIS case status is local office receive it. But on the My USCIS status just says "transfer to another USCIS office for processing, read mail notice on why we transfer your case"

So I guess I might be little different from the notification "new office have jurisdiction over your case" ?

I'm wondering is it because I filed N 400?

Don't worry. I think you are in the same boat we are all in. He was not specific about that part, he meant in general any updates specially case transfer. Good luck to you and all of us

I think there is sense in what the tier 2 told you cos when I checked the Nov thread a case got approved within 5days of the transfer notice so let’s see as things unfold in the next few days
