My number starts with WAC170670.  I haven’t applied for N400 yet. Waiting to be done with I-751. I haven’t seen any update to my case since 26th Feb 2018 (Case was received at my local office). Look forward to seeing an update anytime soon.

Immigration Journey

  • On L-1B visa for about 1.5 years before getting my F1 visa.
  • F1 (2 years) to OPT (6 months) to H-1B (8 years; Had an approved I-140 and extended my H-1B beyond 6 years) to Conditional GC (3 years 3 months) to Permanent GC.
  • I had earned 40 credits in Social Security, submitted I-864W when filing for I-130.
  • Husband and I are both Indians by birth. Husband became a naturalized USC in July 2014 and I applied for AOS in August 2014.

Interesting. Please let us know what the letter says. Maybe it’s regarding the transfer of your case. Curious though since letter is from Las Vegas and not NBC or another major processing center. I also got the transfer alert notice yesterday as well and I have my N-400 pending. Again did you also put in a service request in writing? If so it might be their response coming from your local office judging from the size of the envelope.

I just got off the phone with a tier 1 representative. I think when it gets transferred to the local office. It is a setup for an interview. The processing times for the local office are insane though 21.5 to 45 months from when they received the file. So if you guys have a notification about it being transferred to a local office and not another service center be prepared for that.

I am getting ready to file for a divorce due to ongoing infidelity and I am a wreck because I don’t know how this whole process will play out. I am about to lawyer up and see how things go. I am praying for a miracle.

The best of luck to the rest of you all.
