I'm not sure I believe the September date, only because they would be using the same data that is on their website ("official" data).  Not holding my breath for sooner, but hoping for 15 months instead of 18.  I'm not sure why they haven't yet done some file transfers to Vermont

Hi, yes , I also have seen on the official site that they r working on files of Octuber now.I have a question I hope you all good people will be able to help me out of this problem. I after trying many times, got appointment for to get stamp on my passport. The appointment is just couple days from the last date of the expiry of my one year extension, I got the appointment but this time like past my couple times , I could not print the appointment page. I m afraid if I could never be able to print it and the page will continuously keep disappearing and the date of my appointment will come, do you think with the confirmation date and PIN number , they will take me in by checking the confirmation number and PIN number that I m the same person, at the gate and will let me enter  to se the. Immigration officer or what will happened to my situation . One time I cancelled the appointment just because of this problem and this time I re scheduled again and this time again it happened again. I know I will keep this appointment , ,but my concern stays the same, what will happen now? I hope some one will come up with the right answer which will solve my problem. Thanks in advance.

Didn't you already send in your N-400 back in November 2017? I think that was your plan at the time.

I filled it out but didn't send it bc of the rumors of being declined if condition has not been removed yet

Hi! I had my Infopass on Friday. I too received both my GC and NOA back, which I know you don't need, but are helpful in convincing foreign airport employees unfamiliar with US immigration that you are allowed onto the plane :)

From now on you only need the stamped passport. Actually if you are flying domestic and not close to the boarder you only need your ID

The type of ID for flying domestic is tied to the REAL ID Act. The problem is that DL's are issued by the states, and not the federal government. About half of all states comply with this Act for issuing and producing licenses, and the other half have extensions in place. It depends on which state issued the ID, not where you are flying to/from. American Samoa is the only non-compliant/extension state/territory right now.

However, I fly internationally more often than domestic, and I've found that countries which do not see as many traveler's to the US are often unfamiliar with the documentation. Being so close, and presumably more familiar with the US documentation, Mexico and Canada have not been an issue. However, each time I fly in from Australia the agent has to double check and repeatedly confer with their superior, because they are simply unfamiliar with the documents. Even if it is expired, and not necessary, it can be useful.

I see your point and I agree with the DL thing, that's why I said ID and not DL. As far as travelling internationally, once your passport is stamped that's all you need. Showing an expired GC or extension letter could bring up more confusion and all in all...they are expired, so imho don't add any good to the cause. Also most of the time at the infopass appt expired GC and letters are retained and not given back.

What rumors? I thought a lot of people have been applying for citizenship while still waiting for ROC?

Just had our InfoPass appt this morning at the LA Field Office - everything went perfectly. Appointment was at 8:15am (secured appt via the auto refresh option mentioned elsewhere). There are two lines: General and InfoPass. We arrived early at 7:45 and they were open - no line at InfoPass reception window, growing line of attempted walk-ins. The woman at reception was very nice and we waited a few minutes to be called to another window and agent. We explained what we were there for and the agent said no problem. 10 minutes later and we had the passport stamp and got the extension letter returned. Physical GC was taken, but the agent made a copy for us (we have one anyway). We were done and out of there by 8:13am - even earlier than our appointment was supposed to start! If you really need a quick appointment, schedule early and show up even earlier. The agent said CSC is working on September 2016 now... website says October but really, doesn’t matter at this point! Woo hoo! Good luck all!

Hi, congratulations, at least you have one year stamp on your passport . I have a question  and that is, what if I have the info pass confirmation and PIN number but don't have print out because I.have a hard time in printing the page, Do you think they will give a little of their time to check the confirmation of my appointment and accept my appointment when I will be there with all the information ?

Yes they do, the print out is for security guard to let you in, showing it on the phone is enough.

When you get to the info window, they will need your ID to search your app on their computer and print you a waiting number. They wont rely on your printout.

Disclaimer: this is the common way of doing it, but with everything else USCIS has 100s of ways of doing things.

Always say whether its on purpose or not, its a great security feature to keep criminals from figuring out the system lol

yup, but some data points show the N400 was frozen or declined due to the condition not being removed and the I751 being more delayed. I'd say it's 50/50 and I'm not in a rush of getting the citizenship. BTW form is ready

Thanks for your very helpful information , one more question, through your experience , I noticed that at Los Angeles USCIS Office, you noticed two lanes, one general and other with info pas appointment . Does it mean that if we can not make appointment through info pass, we still can go there for one year extension stamp on our passport by standing in the general line ,go inside the office on our turn after having guard check our documents like, the extension letter issued by USCIS, our passport and government issued I'd etc.and see the immigration officer. Is it true?

Legally N-400 cannot be declined just because there is an  I-751 pending.

Please read the link below under Section B.2 ."Spouses with Pending Petitions and Naturalization Applications"

https://www.uscis.gov/policymanual/HTML/PolicyManual-Volume12-PartG-Chapter5.html#footnote-5

This link too:

https://www.ilw.com/articles/2002,0214-Mehta.shtm

from the link above it says:

"Based on Mr. Novak’s (Director of the INS VSC) statement, the citizenship application cannot be denied on the basis that the I-751 is pending."

I-485 (AOS)

04/01/2015 Sent Form I-485.

05/06/2015 Scheduled the interview and mailed its notice.

06/16/2015 The Post Office picked up mail containing the new card.

06/16/2015 The 2 years Green Card was mailed to me.

06/18/2015 The 2 years Green Card in hand.

I-751 (ROC)

03/13/2017 Sent I-751 documents to CSC.

03/14/2017 Package received.

03/16/2017 Check cashed.

03/??/2017  NOA received.

03/14/2017 NOA dated.

03/27/2017 Biometrics. "walked-in"

02/26/2018 Case transferred to my local office.

05/01/2018 Case transferred to another office.

05/03/2018 Case transferred to another office.

05/07/2018 Received letter in mail, my case was transferred to NBC. "Letter's date is 05/01/2018"

06/05/2018 Received letter in mail, they will do an interview at the same time, date and location of my N-400 interview. "06/21/2018"

06/21/2018 The combo interview (with N-400 interview). But it's still pending until they send me the result of this interview.

06/27/2018 The case was approved, with the N-400 approval.

06/30/2018 Received the approval letter in mail.

N-400 (Under 3 Years Rule)

04/02/2018 Applied for N-400 Online. (I-751 is still pending)

04/02/2018 Received NOA Online (Received in mail on 4/03/18).

04/27/2018 Biometrics.

05/14/2018 Scheduled the N-400 interview.

06/21/2018 Interview's date.

Passed the English test and the U.S. history and government test.

But: A decision cannot be made yet about my application. The reason is my pending I-751 file!

06/27/2018 The case was approved (with the I-751 approval), and placed me in line for oath ceremony.

07/09/2018 Oath Ceremony was scheduled.

07/20/2018 Oath Ceremony.

Had any body seen or experienced that at USCIS office at Los Angels field office, A US national infant( I have 4 months old son) was allowed with their parents with out info pass for him? My understanding is that this infant has nothing to do with their parents immigration issue. He is just accompanying his parents, so still he needs info pass ? Other question is that at the same office as I mentioned above, do they allow walk ins for to get one year stamp on our passport or we have to have appointment for this purpose . ANY BODY , ANY ANSWER RELATED TO THESE ISSUE ???,!!!!!,!,!!
