You should not have any problem entering the US, mostly the problem would be the airlines employees, since most of them were not aware of i-551 stamp and extension letter. That is why it is better to have the documents from CBP when trvaveling that you can show on their face in case you encounter a moron. Which Airline you traveling to? I usually fly with Delta and no issue at all.

Here's the link, if you can print the whole the thing then its better but its not advisable. Some members here just printed the first page with Liberty picture and page 37 which is applicable to you:

hope this helps.

Thank you for responding. Woaaah! I hope everything will be fine and smooth. I just missed my Family so much. It’s been almost 4 years since the last time I saw them. 😣😣😣

most of them were not fully trained about some US documents, like the i-797 aka NOA1 and to my surprise they even dont know what is i-551 stamp.

Specially for the airline employees where in English is not their second language.

They wont let you on board specially if they are not aware of the documents that you present to them, that is why print the cbp documents that I mentioned to you so you can have something to slap on their faces. LOL!

Usually based on my experienced, if the airline is american owned company, they are more aware of the US documents, but if not american owned company, mostly they are not aware.

Hey guys, so today i went for an Infopass at the Manhattan NYC office and I got the rudest immigration officer. My ROC residency letter expires next month so I had to go in and try to get a stamp.

First of all she started shouting at me because I live in NJ and she said they don't have jurisdiction and bla bla and why did I even go there -  I said I work next door and i thought this is a federal service and I just need to get a proof of residency -_- .. It wasn't that she was telling me I'm at the wrong office but it was just her tone and attitude at 8:10am that make me say she was the rudest officer I have ever seen. I mean, fine, we all make mistakes, can't you just be kind to people? Shish. I always make an effort to smile and say goodmorning and how are you and just be positive so when people are so negative and grumpy it bothers me ..

Then she was looking at her screen and started laughing hysterically.. and told me congratulations you just slowed down your application.. and then proceeded to tell me that I shouldn't have applied for N400 and what's the rush -_- And now my i751 is going to be slowed down. - Note that the reason why I send in my N400 is because at another infopass a different officer told me there's no reason to wait and I should file my N400 as soon as I'm eligible even if i751 is pending.

She then gave me the stamp, at which point I expected her to take my actual green card and i751 letter back, but she didn't. She gave both the card and the letter back to me..

Just wanted to let you all know. I don't know if it delays it or not but she was really laughing hysterically when she saw it.. So take it as you will :/

I was originally a November 2016 filer until USCIS return my application back and had to resubmit in December.. While I was a November filer i created this app for November filers http://immitracking.com which basically is that freaken form but in electronic format and each filer can just update their info and it automatically updates the entire list.. I think I should adjust it so that we can filter by month on it so that December filers can use it too :) that manual list really seems like a big mess ..

I, myself, a Nov filler :)

did u guys hear anything from CSC or naaaaahhhh!

I'm sorry about your experience at the field office, Snorlux. I try to behave exactly the same way (as I was raised in a certain manner), and it's disappointing to see people behave differently, especially in their role of providing customer service.

I have ZERO regrets of applying for naturalization. Although it may be true that the ROC may be slowed down (there are different schools of thought), ultimately, I'm focused on crossing the N400 finish line, and therefore, I'm not particularly concerned of having the ROC dragged for an extra few months while I wait to be interviewed. We do have ADIT stamps in our passports anyway if we need to travel, and we're smart enough to argue with those who may think, outside the US, that we don't have the necessary papers to be admitted, should we need to travel abroad.

Keep warm up in NYC!
