Any suggestions for how to get an InfoPass appointment (to get a passport stamp).  Every time I try, there are no appointments available.

I was struggling to find it as well, and then read here advice to check it right after midnight on a weekday. It worked!

They gave me I 551 stamp on I 94 form and I've been told to come for another one when this expiring as I filed at CSC :/

Are we supposed to get a stamp if our letter is close to expiring? or is that just if you have travel plans?

Is the letter expiring or have you reached the one year anniversary date of the expiration of the GC.  The reason I ask is that I have seen a few posts where folks were confused between the dates on the letter vs the date on the GC.  To my knowledge, if you are close (within a month) of the one year anniversary of when your GC expired it is not required to get a stamp unless you are planning on traveling, but it may be prudent to get one just to maintain something that proves to an employer, or anyone else that you are still legal.

Good Luck!

Got I-551 Stamp extending my current Green card validity. Immigration officer explained that I could travel, work and renew Driver's License. I asked if I could apply for citizenship. She said yes, they adjudicate those locally. And that they will request I-751 and N-400 to be shipped to the local USCIS office.

Sounds like I should do that.

So has anyone who filed at CSC contacted USCIS about our cases? or has anyone heard anything? Like maybe how much longer we can expect to be waiting.

Well i did not file at CSC but i did read a post on VJ a couple of days ago.  Someone enquired/service request about how long they are taking to adjudicate ROC, the reply was they acknowledged they were behind at CSC but plan to try and catch up or something, which is excellent news. i am guessing they are caught up with DACA which seems to be looking at the statistics why they actually fell behind.

As a February 2017 filer, any deliberations I had about filing for N-400 in February 2018 are now put to bed. It cannot possibly make the process any slower.

Yes, as a CSC applicant myself I would file N-400 as soon as I am eligible. The long wait of I-751 is insane and there is no need to wait for long if your goal is to file for N-400 ultimately.

Great news guys!

Just got an email notification saying:

"New Card Is Being Produced

On December 26, 2017, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number ---------"

Good luck to everyone still waiting. See you on the N400 threads!

*If someone can update the list with the approvals.*

Thanks!
