I called immigration today and for the ones being related to the california center, just letting you know they are treating the ROC for the 3rd of August 2016.

it looks like it will take 15 month total if everything is going well.

This update is accurate on a date of 31 September.

Today is 9 November, so in a little more than a month they might have moved further (I hope) or slowed down ( you never know)

anyhow this latest update gives hope it would take less than 15 months, not sure exactly how you calculated it

as of today I haven't been called for the biometric yet...just saying.

I mail out the N400 next week

just FYI (idk if you care) filing N400 will delay your i-751 adjudication by another year or so. Read the July/August thread. Lots of people have done it and once you file N400 you are in a different queue and you may or may not get your 10 year gc. not sure if you care though.

We submitted the I-751 in December 2016 and had an InfoPass appointment in October 2017 since the 1 year extension letter was expiring. We were told that USCIS now requires in-person interviews for ALL applicants, which is why the process is taking so long. The agent estimated that it could take another 9-12 months.

Who told you this? I don't think this is true at all, I've even seen newsletter from USCIS that they only do random interviews now to speed up the process. If you check the thread from November 2016, most of them were already approved since October (Vermont Center).  You should hear back within this month or next.

The USCIS agent at our InfoPass appointment on 10/25/17 told us that's why it's taking so long for the I-751 to be approved. Our interviews have always been waived before, which is why we were so surprised. She may have been mistaken but that's what USCIS told us.

Sorry but that's poppy ####### unless they suddenly changed the rules. I remember going to my bio-metrics and I said to the officer there, its going to take around 13 months for this whole process, they said no it will be much quicker, you will get an interview.  Like they knew something I didn't, so I repeated myself to clarify  and I received the same answer..

I have not had an interview, its not been quicker as I am on month 9 of waiting.  Since my bio-metrics I have seen people being approved left right and centre with no interview whatsoever, so where the officer sourced that information I don't know.  I would take what they said with a pinch of salt. I think it ascertains more towards to AOS, than ROC and even then I am sure there are approvals with no interview.

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

Time to reset the tick tock clock again.   Roll my eyes.

Totally agree on this. They are giving some information out of the blue without any basis. Each application is different and unique, so it will be always based on your application. @shell20 Once I become a US Citizen I will visit the London Bridge and London Eye. LOL!

London is cool, its very cosmopolitan, full of different cultures, people and extremely busy, worth a visit. However if you want to see the true beauty of England I would say take time out to visit  the Cotswolds, Bath, Bristol, Cornwall, Devon, Yorkshire Dales,  the Lake District.  So many beautiful places to visit, too many to name them all.  I am visiting England myself this weekend.

A rest from ROC, no doubt they will send me an RFE whilst i am away and Im a way a few weeks. I have said to my husband if he can collate any information they need then he will need to do that as I wont be able to with being in England. Unfortunately because we have wasted around 3 days with USCIS and such,  he has no vacation days left and can't join me for Christmas n England which makes me sad.   My son can't come here  for Christmas as he can't get the time of work either, but my husband understands that I need to see my son.

I agree, too early to predict if they will send, RFE or approval. I will travel to my home country as well next year which is 2 months from the date of the i-797 letter. I think during that month I wont be hearing anything from them as well since it's still 2 months ahead from the date of my filing.

I think I may hear something, it will be 11 months since I filed when I fly back and Vermont at the moment seem to be taking 11  months to a year although again we know that's subject to change as they have slowed down and California have now sped up a bit!  Snail like bit, well no that's an insult to a snail, they are Gold Medal Olympians compared to VSC and CSC.
