It is just you for the biometrics.

I went with my spouse but he was just sitting in the lobby. He didn't even enter the service center.

Same thing happened when we did Biometrics for AOS, went with spouse and she just sat in a chair while I had my fingerprints/photo done.

Hi everyone,

Did anyone use Vanguard beneficiary info for 401 k? How did you get that?

I am the account holder and my husband is beneficiary.

I tried to print the beneficiary page, but it only shows my husband's name, not my name with it.

How did you tackle this situation?

Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Sent Package 12/29/2016 and received NOA 1/3/2017.

I have tried to enter my receipt number into the system but it is saying that my receipt number is invalid. So I have been calling the number for USCIS but I feel like I have gone through every option on the automated system and I am not able to speak with anyone. Has anyone else had the same issue with their receipt number and does anyone know the number combination to be able to speak with someone?

Happens to everyone. The first Receipt number you get doesn't work anywhere. When you get your biometrics letter, it will have another receipt number that works :) Also, when you get your biometrics letter, if the status online says anything like "we received your application and waived your application fees" again don't worry, most of us here received the same status.. seems to be a glitch in USCIS's systems!

The receipt number on the first NOA is not valid. USCIS aren't even able to use it for anything. I know because I was worried about my biometrics letter taking so long, so I called them but the agent was unable to help me.

The receipt number on your biometrics letter is what you're going to want to use, to track your case/signed up for notifications.

I don't remember what I did to get to an agent when I called, but I do remember it being difficult and frustrating. But unless you request to speak to an Tier 2 agent, they can't help you without your biometrics receipt number anyway.

Thanks

in Idaho i was able to, and they renewed it for one more year going by the date on my green card.

I called them before I went, and they let me know just to bring the extension letter with me. maybe you should try that?

I was able to renew my driving license today in Saint Louis, MO based on the extension letter and expiring green card. For address proof, I  just showed them last month's bank statement. DMV staff voided my DL and issued a document which can be used as a proof of driving privilege until I receive my permanent DL in the mail.
