I guess I do not have any other choice but to wait and going back to normal life. By the way, USCIS replied my inquiry and mentioned that my case is on hold because of security check not completed. They do not know when it will be completed. Fingerprint was completed from my side in Jan-2017. But everything is up in the air and will have to go back to normal life until they respond me back.

Wanted to post an update - we had our I-751 interview last Monday and the ROC was approved on Tuesday. Should be receiving the new green card in the mail today.

 

Chicago, IL

Filed I-751 in December 2016.

Biometrics in January 2017.

Filed N-400 in September 2017.

N-400 interview scheduled for Dec 2017, but officer turned us away that day saying they don’t do combo interviews.

I-751 interview scheduled in July 2018.

I-751 approved and green card in production in July 2018.

 

And we continue our journey with the N-400 application. Wishing everyone a speedy end to the process!

Hey guys, ROC approved one day after my N400 got approved. Had a combo interview at Newark on July 11. The interview didn't even say that it will be a combo interview like other people mentioned, but I went prepared with my wife just in case. When I gave my name at reception they picked up a HUGE stack of papers bound together and that's why I knew this probably includes my ROC application.. no way my N400 file was that thick especially given the fact that all N400 applications are now electronic

I replied to this post a couple days ago. I still have my ROC pending and have my N400 interview scheduled in Sep 5th.

I am little afraid as my field office is Chicago and I have seen a couple posts saying that officers turn away candidates as they do not combine I751 / N400 interviews together.

I have not seen any posts stating people have done I751/N400 combined interviews at the Chicago office.

I only wish they do combine my interview so that I can get over with this ridiculously long process.

Well, for those of you still here,  just wanted to share that we received a status update on the DHS website today "we are producing your card and will mail it to you."  The EGOV website still has the Feb 26 transfer glitch.  Our case was received by USCIS 12/6/16.  We haven't received any approval notice or anything yet.    

 

I have a question about the address change process for those of you kind enough to help out.  When you change your address, have you submitted both the change of address form AR-11 AND a new affidavit form?  I am hearing conflicting information about this.  Some have said both need to be submitted after a move, and some say just the electronic AR-11 is good enough.  Any experiences you can share with me?  What have you all done when you moved?

Hey all,

Im submitted my rfe last month and have been waiting ever since. Its bee about 34days now. 

I went to my local office last week to check on my case to verify if it is line for an interview cause topically ppl have been reporting responses to their RFE within weeks/days. However the infopass agent verified my response was received but said it was pending and had not been put in line for an interview basically its just probably back on a pile pending. 

Is anyone else still waiting on a RFE response?
