Seems like December fillers had 2 active weeks of approval: end of May and begging of June. After that, I see no updates whatsoever yet movement started in January 2017 thread. Not sure if that means that fillers who still waiting stuck on background check or simply got skipped. Thoughts?

No idea what the heck is going on with December filers. I see very seldom cases around mine that get activity. Actually, I was watching some that had the same update as mine, "name corrected", and now I don't anymore. One of them I see went back to Case received at local office.
I'm Dec 16 Vermont and stuck in pending security checks. Vermont is working February 17 cases supposedly.

I had my interview on May 29th, approved the same day, received the approval letter on 6/6 ....haven’t heard anything since then!

Am I the only one here is waiting for the production of his/her card since approval?

California yea. Vermont shortened it to 16.5 months.

It's so unfortunate to be CSC filer, but I guess also because I filed for N 400 too. Last year N 400 filers got interview faster than this year. I feel I also catch the slow down for N 400, too. Really don't know what can describe my feelings now.

Hey guys, today I had my N400 interview at Newark and my wife and baby along and also a bunch of documents for the i751 just in case even though my interview notice only mentioned the N400. When I got there and I was called in the officer had my N400 AND my I751 in front of him so he did an interview for both and approved both cases. He said that for the N400 he could do it instantly but because the i751 was a paper application there are some steps he need to take to approve it so he told me that I shouldn't worry at all and everything looks perfect, he just has to process the approval and I would get a letter to come back for the oath ceremony so I guess no 10 year green card for me :)

I applied for i751 in December 2016 but I don’t think it would have been processed if it wasn’t for my N400 interview coming up now.

The officer initially told me I did good bringing my wife with me and he will call her in later to process the i751 but at the end of my interview he said I don’t need to bring her in I have faith in the marriage because you have a baby born in the marriage and he also saw the other documents I had with me like lease contracts, insurance cards etc. He said he will see my wife on the way out so he came and told her hi and sorry for keeping me so long. I think he just had to see her for logistical reasons like so he could say “his wife and baby were here with him” ;)

Wow so when were you eligible to apply for N400? I applied for N400 as soon as I was able, which was February 2018 (three years after first green card was issued).

Same here .. I applied as soon as I could. My immigration officer was like “couldn’t you have waited a bit longer to apply?” Cause he had to update so many things lol.. but I was very tempted to say that if I haven’t applied for N400 I don’t think my i751 would have been processed by now and then I would still have had to wait longer to get my citizenship which at the end of the day is all that matters. I think at the end of the day applying as soon as possible for N400 is the best thing you can do if that’s your end goal ;)
