Hi everyone,

I don't know if this question has been asked here yet.  My husband is travelling back home this month with his green card stamp.  If his i-751 gets approved while he is gone and he is issued his ten year green card which is mailed to our house while he is away, does this cancel out his stamp?  Or will he still be able to come back in the country?  In other words, is the stamp still valid once the 10 year green card has been issued?  The timing is so tight right now that it looks like his case will be approved while he is gone.  We were so hoping it would happen before he left :(:(:(:(

I think your husband should be good. But in a worst scenario once you recieve the card while he is away you can mail it to him but the stamp we talking about is a Government issue stamp so he should be good even though it will pop up that his permanent residence card has been issued but that will not make the CBP deny him entry. Best of luck

Well, finally, after so much wait, I received a letter saying my case has been approved! My status online (using both websites) has not changed at all since the February glitch. My details as follows:

CSC

Sent package 12/19/2016

NOA 12/19/2016

Biometrics 02/08/2017

Approval letter generated 06/05/2018

Approval letter received 06/09/2018

No N400, no divorce

The letter says I should receive my card within 60 days, so I'll wait patiently. Any tips on how to track this? I get a bit nervous thinking it could be lost in the mail. I am already enrolled on the informed delivery service at USPS, but I'd like to have an actual tracking number.

Also, I want to start my N400 application process but I do not have my card yet. What do I do? Should I wait until I get it?

Do you have an I551 stamp, or do you still have the expired GC?  Use either of these for the N400.

Good Luck!

Interesting to hear some people are getting physical letters before the online status changes, I'm going to have to keep my eye out for the mail now.
