I am waiting and waiting seeing how many with numbers ahead of mine are getting some news ....mine zero argggg this is so upsetting I am glad for the ones that already have it ...mine say its going to local office thats it ....

I wonder if some desk persons are faster than others and I got the Ninja Turtle han:ph34r:dling mine.

This is getting interesting, seen a few people getting physical approvals without the online status changing, are we just wasting out time checking our online statuses now?!

Based on the statistics that I see, the way USCIS processes cases actually follows almost strictly based on your WAC numbers. Just use an excel spread sheet and check the "acted on" (including RFEs) rates, you see an almost linear pattern of approval rates vs WAC receipt dates (the first 5 digits). You mentioned before your WAC date is 17080, which is Dec19th (NOA1 date), so you are about two weeks away from seeing updates (USCIS is currently processing WAC17068 or so). 

 

Now statistically speaking, the trend we are seeing does not guarantee your specific case will be approved on a certain date, meaning each person's case is somewhat random. (If you know probability & statistics you know what I mean) For December filers, I estimate a 5% chance of approval every day once your date starts getting processed by USCIS.

My NOA is 12/26... I think these are good guideposts, but at the end of the day there doesn't seem to be much method to the madness that's obviously apparent. The good news is, our month wasn't completely lost and is being looked at! Best of luck to everyone.

FYI - DHS is showing the correct status under I-751: "We approved your case..." indicating 5/16/18.

 

It's the USCIS case status site that is still showing the old statuses...
