Um, I'm not sure if i'm answering what you are asking, but if the K1 medical was done within the past year, then you do not need to get a whole new medical done for the AOS. As for the DS-3025, some people have just submitted this and have gotten approved, others have gotten the DS-3025 transcribed to the I-963a (vaccination supplement) by a civil surgeon here in the USA either before their AOS interview or when the 1st submitted their AOS application. If they want anything further from you (ie. to have the I-963a form) they will send you a RFE.

K1 Journey:

April 13/06 NOA1 from NSC

June 1/06 - Moved to CSC

August 12/06 APPROVED - NOA2!!

August 28/06 Left NVC. . . Vancouver Bound!

September 27/06 Interview APPROVED, with visa in hand

October 29/06 Moving Date

December 30/06 Married!!

AOS Journey:

January 16/07 Sent out AOS, EAD, and AP docs

January 23/07 NOA1's for AOS, EAD and AP

February 13/07 Biometrics in Portland, OR

April 7/07 EAD and AP Received

April 24/07 Interview Scheduled . . . and APPROVED, stamp and all!

May 7/07 Greencard is in my hands!

ROC Journey:

February 17/09 Sent I-751 to CSC

February 18/09 NOA1

March 14/09 Biometrics appt.

April 22/09 Date of Approval!!

June 25/09 Greencard arrives in the mail!

There has been some confusion and lots of different experiences. There was a time when many immigrants came to the U.S. and had their medicals here. K visas are relatively new and the difference is that the medical is done "overseas." But the system is slow to catch up and "remember" that the medical was already done.

We got an RFE for the entire medical when we should have gotten one for just the supplement. We got a black stare at the InfoPass appointment because the officer was "old school" and not used to K visas (!) We went to a U.S. Civil Surgeon to get the supplement transcribed (because it must be done by a doctor in the U.S.) and he was old school, too. He didn't understand K visas and still referred to "the INS."

If you get an RFE, it's best to reply with exactly what they ask for or risk a denial, even though you're already in compliance. As insurance, we got the supplement done here and sent it, even though there was no RFE. It's what they should have asked for and if that ever dawns on them, it will already be in the file. Clear as mud?
