1. Can the fiance go to ANY Junta electoral office or does it have to be the Office in his HOME TOWN? (Born in the country, will take several hours to drive there.)

2. What place do you recommend to have it translated into English. Specific locations/website/address appreciated.

Thank you :)

Yes you can go to any junta electoral office and get the birth certificate as for the translation you can do it yourself If your flunt enough I did my own translation and so far there's been no problems.. this is what I found when I was doing my translation I hope it helps.

The certification format should include the certifier's name, signature, address, and date of certification. A suggested format is:

Certification by Translator

I [typed name], certify that I am fluent (conversant) in the English and ________ languages, and that the above/attached document is an accurate translation of the document attached entitled ______________________________.

Signature_________________________________

I thought the rule was that if the birth certificate was in english or spanish it didn't need to be translated, only other languages, no??

USCIS requires any documents, birth certificate, divorce certificate, ect, in a foreign language be translated into English.
