Hi guys!

So when I crossed the land border between Maine and NB a few weeks ago, a paper I94 was put into my passport. It has an expiry of Feb 17 2017. The border officers told me I need to mail in the paper form before that date to a particular address? They only wrote the address on a sticky note and I seem to have misplaced it.

I printed out the electronic I94 when it appeared on the government website and used it to apply for my SSN the other day.

Is there anything else I need the paper I-94 for?

Am I actually supposed to mail the form somewhere since I'm not leaving the US? What does this do?

Does anyone happen to know where I'm supposed to mail it to?

Thanks so much for any help :)

I flew, and all I have is a stamp in my passport saying I entered on a K1, expiring Jan 11th, 2017 -- My I-94 is entirely electronic, I don't have a paper version in my passport at all.

Honestly I don't know why there'd be different rules for the I-94 for land vs air, and I doubt there are but I could be wrong. I don't know why you'd need to send it anywhere...? I kept a paper copy of it on hand for applying towards things like an SSN, Drivers License, etc. but I never had to send it anywhere. The first time I'm actually sending a copy is via the AOS package, but that just makes sense.
