K2 AOS - new medical needed or pediatrician's record OK?

Hi All,

Background:

K2 follow-to-join submitted DS-3025 upon entry to US in sealed envelope; we have no copy of DS-3025. All vaccinations for K2 were done in US by pediatrician and therefore not part of DS-3025. K2 has had two well-child exams since entry. K2 has also had a TB test as part of well-child exam. AOS will be filed more than one year after the medical was performed in home country.

Questions:

1. Is a visit to a civil surgeon for an I-693/vaccination review sufficient for AOS or will USCIS require a new medical because original medical was in Oct 2015?

2. Can we submit copies of K2s well-child exams in lieu of new medical done by civil surgeon?

3. Does a minor child have to go to the civil surgeon if the only thing needed is an I-693 vaccination review?

We are trying to minimize the trauma to our child of multiple medical exams, especially after this horribly torturous year of vaccines (6 years all rolled into one) as well as not spend additional money with a civil surgeon for a medical if only vaccination review is needed.

Since the old medical is over 1 year old then yes they will ask for a new one. And that one have to be done by one of the doctors on their list.

The child will also need to get all the vaccines on the i-693 but that doctor will know all about that. Just bring all proof you have that the child have received those vaccines.
