Best Visa Option for traveling during applying process

I am a US citizen and my fiancé is a Mexican national living on the border between Texas and Mexico. She has a current tourist visa which allows her to travel to US any time she wants. She has a business in Mexico but crosses the border almost every day for supplies or to visit family. We are having the religious wedding in Mexico early next year and will have the civil ceremony in Texas sometime after that. I know of the 3 visa options to file but my main question is which visa option (K1/Immigrant/K3) would allow my fiancé to continue to be able to cross the border without any issues? We are planning on living in the city of Mcallen, TX which is on the border with the Mexican city of Reynosa. Any help/advice is appreciated.

But once you have the religious wedding in Mexico you are no longer eligible to for K1.

And I'm not sure why you would need to do the civil ceremony in Texas if you are already married.

Religious ceremony or wedding or whatever you call it will count as a wedding and they might (as it happened before) deny your K1 - FIANCE visa because of it.

K3 is not used anymore.

So your only option will be CR1.

The officer on the border might or might not deny your partner entry to the USA on the turist visa if they see an immigrant application pending.

K1

29.11.2013 - NoA1

06.02.2014 - NoA2

01.04.2014 - Interview. 

AoS

03.2015 - AoS started.

09.2015 - Green Card received.  

RoC

24.07.2017 - NoA1.

01.08.2018 - RoC approved.

A religious wedding is NOT a legal wedding in Mexico. Before filing for a spousal visa, they have to get legally married in either Mexico or in the US.

Yea if "just doing a civil marriage in Texas" after.. just make the religious ceremony a big wedding instead, then file for CR-1

12/06/2017 - I-485 Approved
