Is this possibly 3 N/A?

I have electronic processing, and I know it's fast, but I submitted AOS and IV docs Wednesday of last week and then we submitted the DS-260 on Sunday. The AOS fee has changed to N/A from Paid and I now have N/A's in AOS Fee, AOS Documents, and Civil Documents.

I guess I could call them to check? Just don't want to waste time calling if this is an impossible timeline.

That's pretty quick but I guess it's maybe due to electronic processing which is faster. I would call NVC just to confirm but this is positive update. Good luck and let us know what you hear.

That's definitely super fast! I'm doing electronic processing also, and I'm almost at my 6 weeks with no update.

I feel so absolutely incredibly lucky. My case is actually complete only 1 day after the scan date. We submitted the IV and AOS packages by e-mail Wednesday of last week, DS-260 on Sunday, the scan date was Monday and case complete was Tuesday. I just called to verify that the 3 N/A's were real. 1 day must be the speed record for scan date to case case complete without any expedite. Now to figure out where to go from here! Good luck everyone.

I am happy for you, but I am extremely confused and angry.......Why should an emailed case get priority over a case which has already been scanned? Once a case is scanned, it becomes "electronic".......am I missing something?

Congratulations! But to be honest, that doesn't make me happy; life is unfair.

There have been rumors at least that there is a division of labor at the NVC where certain staff are responsible for certain regions/countries. It could be that Canada is fully caught up.

It's also a bit of karma evening out for us. We filed while we were both living abroad. In the past, when the petitioner and spouse both lived abroad, the USCIS stage was auto-expedited. Instead we got sent to Nebraska and spent longer than 5 months waiting.

It is EXTREMELY unfair, and possibly should be investigated. If that case was completed after only one day (while others are waiting for weeks), something is wrong.....I am not a happy camper....I haven't seen my wife since March, and I am sick and tired of not getting the service I PAID FOR!

It really doesn't make sense. It's the same documents that we all send so I dint see how it should matter whether they have been emailed by the individual or sent on paper and then scanned in.

I'm pleased for everyone with a fast CC but I feel the frustration of the others.

The next question is why not all embassies can do electronic processing? I was at the London embassy today and they offer free wifi in the waiting room for crying out loud but can't accept documents by email. It's almost 2017! I've had an email address since 1994. It's hardly a new thing.

I wonder if the brand new London embassy which is due to open at the beginning of next year will have the capability of email processing?

Are you doing electronic processing? Frankfurt has this option.

I know- No- we did regular mail. I also know electronic processing is faster, didn't know it existed when we sent out our petition.

I'm filing for my Canadian husband, and have been waiting for almost 6 weeks, so I don't think it's that the Canadian staff (if that's how it works) are caught up. I think you just got extremely lucky.

If this case can be approved in just 1 day, that shows it doesn't take very long to look through the paperwork. For a typical case there are only 4 or 5 pages to look at. I know they have a lot of cases, but it shouldn't take so long. I am happy for those who get approved quickly. But it's extremely disheartening when some embassies get automaticity expedited at the USCIS level and others get the option for NVC emailing. This process should be the same for every applicantion until it reaches the embassy level.
