You need to call NVC and find out when they received your documents. The date they acknowledge receipt is your scan date.

Her response makes NO sense. She thinks they will be less likely to misplace a paper file than an electronic one...? #######?? Remember, even though it doesn't seem like it, YOU are the one in charge

As I said earlier, supervisor review is a polite way of saying "yes, we know that you already hit the 6 weeks mark, we know, now go away."

Having a tough time getting past this stage for some reason.

My scan date for AOS is Sept 26. No RFE. This went to supervisor review on 11-8 (6 weeks after receipt date). I called weekly to check status, and they would tell me every week that it could take up to 6 weeks and to keep waiting. After being in supervisor review for 6 weeks (Dec 21) they told me again that it was in supervisor review, and since then I have been calling twice a day hearing a different answer every time from supervisors that they are trying to get my case to the review department. I am not quite sure how it takes a day to overnight the package across the country but more than a week to move the package to another department at the same building. At this point I have reached out to my local US Senator (but at this point their office is closed for the holiday), and started a FOIA request so that I can file a complaint within the State Department (I know this will take quite awhile to receive any information on a FOIA request). It is pretty unfortunate that there doesn't seem to be much of a rhyme or reason as to why my case is stuck in the NVC black hole for way longer than it has needed to be, but I don't think there is much else I can do other than to call them several times a day to berate them.

Our scan data is 21 Sept without any RFE or any other information from NVC, each time we call supervisor has some new excuse and asks us to wait for 2 more weeks, it just feels like forever now.

Supervisor review- nov 18

Talked to supervisor on dec 21

How often did you call NVC?

I use to call daily when my case was beyond 11 weeks. Sonetimes twice in a day just to get hold of supervisor. Its really hard to get hold of sup but request them, show your desperation. Thats what i did. This really helps. Because i talk to sup on dec 21 and got cc on dec 28.

I can understand your frustation and i pray u get thru this soon.

Just saw my husband off at the airport. Saying "goodbye" is just so unbearable!! We thought we'd know when I'd be going back before he had to leave this time...NOPE! It's gone 11 weeks now, we've had a bs checklist, and were put on supervisor review again last week... I've been calling every week but I think we're gonna start calling more frequently now, this is becoming a JOKE! :cry:

We have talked to a supervisor many times and every time she apologies and says it should be done in 2 weeks, the hardest part is not knowing that what's actually happening at their end. But we do believe in god and things will get better soon ?

Just tried calling. I keep being told a supervisor isn't available to talk to. Is there a good time to call to catch them?

She said I need to "give it more time"... This is driving me crazy! Why does it take so long just take a second look at my DS-260?!
