Still no case complete for us. I've called twice daily since our 6 weeks was up on 12/19 to no avail. I've been told it's in review. On 12/21, I was told it was sent to supervisor review. I've also been told its been in the review department since 12/12. I hear everything from it should be done anytime to it could take up to 6 more weeks.

Disheartened by this process. I just want to be with my husband.

Trying to be strong for the kids. Trying to be strong so that my husband doesn't get worn down as well.

Merry Christmas, everyone. Praying for some more case completes for us all next week.

Case compleeeteeeeee yeahhh scan date November 1st supervisor review December 14th case complete December 23
Thanks a lot JFH for all your support

Congratulations!

I have a question I'm not sure if it's been asked or answered before as I've been looking around the forums to no avail.

On the nvc wiki it says you have to include a barcoded cover sheet but I'm confused which cover sheet needs to be included in the packages.

In the payment portal there's 1 with the AOS and 1 with the IV bills.

And then there's one that came in the welcome letter.

I'm assuming the AOS sheet goes on top of the AOS package and the IV atop the IV package.

Does the one with the welcome letter need to be added to both packages as well?

Which one should be put before the other when assembling the package?

for reference

with my case

I put the welcome letter one on the top

so the package is like:

Document Cover Sheet (the one in the welcome letter) + AOS barcode sheet + AOS document + Document Cover Sheet (the one in the welcome letter) + IV barcode sheet + IV document

and put case# on the top left of every document

Hope everyone had a lovely holiday. Congrats to those who got their CC.

Anyways, earlier this week I got this email from NVC:

****NVC Notice of Missing Item: Please submit Form DS-260 ****

Good day,
The National Visa Center (NVC) received the documents you submitted in support of ___________________ immigrant visa petition. This petition's NVC case number is XXXXXXXXXXXXX. However, NVC will not review these documents until we receive an Immigrant Visa Application (Form DS-260) for each intending immigrant. Form DS-260 must be completed and submitted to NVC online at ceac.state.gov.

Please follow the online instructions at nvc.state.gov/260 (English) or nvc.state.gov/260/espanol (Spanish). If you have any questions, please call 1-603-334-0700 or use NVC's online inquiry form at nvc.state.gov/ask (English) or nvc.state.gov/ask/espanol (Spanish).

After you submit a Form DS-260, please allow up to six weeks for NVC to review your documents. Then, we will let you know if there is anything missing or that needs to be corrected.

Reminder: This is only a notice that we received documents from you. We will not review them until we have received both the financial documents from the petitioner and the applicant's civil documents. You must also have paid all required fees and submitted a DS-260 Immigrant Visa application online at ceac.state.gov.

I called the NVC and told them I did submit the DS-260 (got the confirmation email and everything) and the rep told me not to worry about it and it was probably sent in error. Has anyone ever received a notice like this before? Should I be worried?:huh::huh:
