Seems like 2 wks based on what I've seen on previous threads. Mine went into supervisor review 12/19 and the rep I talked to said it could take up to 6 wks but to call back in a couple of weeks if I don't hear anything. That confirms to me that although they tell you 6wks, they might take less. We shall see!

It depends. To have the japan police certificate removed from my list of requirements took 2 days. The rep I spoke with confirmed everything I said on the phone to back up my story (so they didn't think I was a nut case) and then said yes, it was put into review on x date and approved 2 days later.

When I asked about a revised checklist she said that I wouldn't be receiving one for that type of change. So I said assuming my final docs are ok, I should be done and she confirmed and then confirmed that my scan date was 11/28 and that I should hear something in 6 weeks.

So they do have the info in the computer as long as the case worker updates the case properly. Unfortunately this means you gotta call until you receive a helpful agent

Literally broken I have not called yesterday or today It's a waste of time all they keep saying is that it's in review. They won't let you speak to a supervisor. Nonsense...maybe ill call tomorrow we probably wont get CC until after Christmas and it sucks. So much for my wife being here for my family members wedding in March.

I talked to supervisor this time. She said your supervisor review ends on dec 30, so there is still one week left but i'll be following up on your case.

Let see now, i ll call again to find out whats going on. I hope i get cc before new year.

I am so worried. I just called nvc and rep said it was sent to supervisor on dec 20 and supervisor review can take upto 6 weeks. Fact is i talked to supervisor a day ago. What does that mean? She put me on 2nd supervisor review? Do i have to wait another 6 weeks? I am losing hope and patience?

Looks like everyone is going through supervisor reviews lately. I believe holidays coming did hold NVC back. Continue to be hopeful things will get better.

Called NVC December 22 @ 7AM - was told case was in review but would have to wait to hear anything

Called NVC December 23 @ 7AM - CASE COMPLETE yesterday, wait to receive email with interview date.

When I called on the 22nd the rep told me that our case had already been sent to the "review Dept" but that it shouldn't have been because it hadn't reached 6 weeks yet (it was 1 day short of 6 weeks).. I didn't understand this, shouldn't it be in the review dept at the time of scan date?? Anyways, I don't know if I was in "supervisor review" or not, I never requested supervisor review, but I was in the "review dept".. and when i called back this morning (dec 23) I was told the case was completed yesterday and to just wait to hear from them when the interview is scheduled.

Congratulations! It seems like you had a Christmas present from NVC. It took them a week to send the case complete letter for mine.Hope youll get them soon. After that interview letter which they would probably come almost the same time given its almost end of the month in case there is an available slot at ur embassy.
